Hello, my name is Grengoshi, i have recently come to Rocktropia amazed. Its a really cool place to be.

but i have some ideas that might make Rocktropia even better

let me start off with Radio Wars


MA could build 5 to 10 radio stations which would auction off at 10k usd
each radio station would produce and create there own music. they will sell there music (cheaper then itunes) they can market there music and create a msuci revouution in the vetiual world.
now i have been watching noobs sweat on rocktropia and relised its harder to amke any money compared to calypso (which meens noobs have it really hard and most lickly to quit) now the way the radio stations can sell off there music is by Monster disk these disk can be collected by noobs like dung and fruits but more common of a drop. The radio station would by them up and make music and selll them to players (music auction) this music would be streamed and added through out calypso and rocktropia (u can only get mosnter disk in RT) now there is more to this but i dont wana give it all away this is just a start with some one my ideas. and before any oen says i dont like this and i dont like that, well you not giveing a chance, i got more ideas to this to make it profitable to NEVERDIE AND MA and even the PLAYERS (which i care more about but u cant change a system unles u got the PED) So dont let my ideas die. ty

The multiple radio thing would be cool if we had a little radio tuner bar up top or one we could carry around with us to select which station.

Of course, then I wouldn't be able to say "THIS SONG ROCKS!!!!" like I do frequently, cause people would be like "Which one?". Ahh well, cool ideas.

Ok, now seriously. Doesn't look like a bad idea but, why would a label spend 10000$ to be streamed in a game with such a tiny audience and even spend more time and money on buying "monster disks" to sell music cheaper than iTunes? o.0'

I think that the way to activate the economy is to get more new players willing to spend money. For example; if ND managed to get the rights of a mainstream artist like Lady GaGa and fans had an opportunity to chat with her, visit a space station inspired by her videoclips/artworks, hunt her Poker Face videoclip dog, sweat her dancers and loot virtual or RL merchandise; LOTS of people would come to the game with their credit cards ready to deposit. Then with the opening of stores and closing the weekly flea market; Rocktropia's economy would PWN Calypso.

I also think that the partnership with Jango can be interesting; I'm intrigued about what ND Studios have planned. Partnerships with Vevo, Grooveshark, Last.FM and more music online services would be really interesting and a big promotion for Rocktropia.

Just my two cents; keep on posting ur ideas Greg

im not affnded and ty for u info but why would a label or PLAYER pay sop much? so theuy can create there own,muic or to get ppl like whats her face to join those sttreams i truly belive having those monster disk would greatly invcrease newbie activitys im currently on my sell so im not going to deffend iit all the way burt in truth if i was a hard cre music person who wanted to make money online djing they would asttmept to buy it

p.s to laban tjhe monster disk would be for invidual players who dnt wana listen to the stsations but at the same time u can still choose a station wit ur friends who can acceas the station.... if u like there music u can buy there product. theres alot alot more to thjis idea...

They can create their own music without joining Rocktropia and I can give you a thousand more profitable online marketing choices with 10k$ xD

I think that ND is working in something like that but in a reasonably way. If I understood the signs at City of Dreams; we will be able to buy/loot credits and then sell them to indie artists that will use them to stream their tracks on Jango.com and CND Live.

And I'm with you with the multiple radio streams. CND Live is good but if I'm at Lemmy's Castle, then I want a metal/rock stream. And if I'm at CoD, I want poppy mainstream hits and cheesy Eurodance
