Do not leave the wave event area for any reason. If you find yourself accidentally stepping out of the event area you can step back in really quick just fine. But don't leave for an extended amount of time or else it will make you restart the wave. I got to wave 3 and decided i needed some more ammo not knowing the fucker would reset on me.
After each reset of the event it will take an hour before it allows you to do the event again. Why? I have no clue because i have yet to see the outcome of finishing the event because i keep getting screwed over by one thing or another.
Do not go afk for extended periods of time. So after waiting the hr I decided to go afk for a few minutes before I started slaughtering mobs again. And guess what, it reset on me again. So it's on some kind of timer, not sure how long i was afk, and i'm not sure if it's because i wasn't attacking. So yeah, had to wait another hr.
The wave events I tested at the CND Club Patios all had a timer of around 30-40 minutes after an event reset.
Your issue with the the thing reseting when you're afk can be handled by being outside the event area until you're ready.
The next event wont start until someone enters the event area after the cooldown timer.
Was this event somewhere else? The Club patios are useless to try unless you're a couple of people since someone has to be outside the fence, I tried to do this myself but its to time consuming to reach all of them and its to risky since you easily trip outside the event area.
I didn't get past wave 2 cause of leaving the area etc.
I'd be up for a test of one of these tonight or later during the weekend if we're like 3 people at least.

Yes, i'm at a different event area. And, this time i got to wave 3, but again, at the end of this wave there were 3 mobs stuck in the wall. Pretty frustrating because I stocked up on quite a bit of ammo to try and finish the waves, and each freakin time I get screwed over from finishing it. I'm not sure how many waves there are but I can't get past 3 because of this stupid shit.
Bah, i'm throwing in the towel for now. I'll try again in a few hrs, chances are same shit will happen. Nothing like bashing your head into a brick wall repeatedly though.
Oh, and what's this I hear about Highest loot on Rocktropians getting a mothership?

Wave Event Area Update
I got a lot of help yesterday with the wave events from Acey, Amber, and SHin. I had all but given up, but they figured out how to aggro the mobs in one form or another either by tping inside the walls, grenades, or MindForce. It also seems that if you are able to Aggro a mob that is stuck in a wall and walk away from it, it will become unreachable. When it is unreachable, it will respawn somewhere else in the area. It's the aggroing the mobs that's the tricky part. Really hard to do with the lower level mobs because they don't aggro as easily.
CoD Wave Events
Today, Narfi helped me with the Wave Events in CoD. We finished two or three of them. The trick with the one's in CoD is to grab a buddy that has a flying vehicle. As long as one person is in the wave area, it will not reset. So basically what Narfi did was fly around the outside of the patios while i stayed within the event area. He killed the stragglers, while i chewed on whatever was in the patio.
All in all I really like the wave events. Depending on the mob determines how long you have to wait before retriggering that event. Sometimes it's an hr, and i've seen them go up to 2 hrs wait. THere's nothing really exciting about the waves other than it's a great grinding tool. Especially if you run into a wave area with a particular mob you need to kill for a mission or that you need ingredients for Bps. It does seem that loot is a bit better with waves, but that could just be due to my loot cycle or whatever, so it may differ from person to person. There seems to be wave areas all over the ROCK. I ran into one by accident somewhere in Tangerine. I don't know exactly where it is, i accidentally stepped into it and than stepped out of it and reset it. Which was weird because i could have sworn i was standing still.
Big thanks to all that helped me out with these. With a little help from my friends
Goodnight Rocktards, seeya tomorrow.

Hiya, maybe lets have a Special Wave Spawn thread so we can fix the issues... we are aware of them and may have to come up with creative solutions since the Spawn seem to have a mind of their own.
for example step ladders in the patios so u can climb out and shoot the stragglers...Or secret passages

The majority of the content we had in the Pipeline for the last VU has been pushed until the Mini Patch next Week. It is our sincere hope that it will be in place before the Launch of Space... As soon as we know for sure what's in. We will start beating the Drum!
Also Gratz to Daisy Coldfinger for Discovering Grunt Foot Guards female. ROCKtropia's first looted armor.

This is a suggestion to what you can do to fix the patio spawn issues of them spawning outside of the patio areas. If you made the cliffs around the patio's really steep and drop off into a huge body of water underneath, it would kill them and cause them to respawn. So basically you need to build a badass moat, and fill it with redsnapper fish. So it would make sense, they fall into the water and get eaten by piranha.
