is there a demand at this time for new Shops?

Would more shop owners help stimulate our economy and help crafters easily find parts

How do you all feel at this time and How many would you like?

I think more shops would be good but they can wait as there are booths that are establishing themselves atm. Some of the shops even seem to be waiting for further development and is one of the main reasons they have changed hands in the past. More shop owners at this time isn't going to help stimulate the economy nor help the crafters. What will do that is increasing the drop rate on certain materials and the rate at which limited bps drop for items of common use. And of course, a larger player base which is visibly growing right now. Also, bringing back the Rocktropia specific resources to the planet (not Hell) would help. This would also create more items that would be worthwhile to sell in the shops/booth/stalls. If anything must be released, I would suggest opening a commissary of say a block of 4-6 stalls inside the prison to create a mini economy within NWO for the inmates. Otherwise, again if it is a must happen, 3 shops would be way more than enough right now. Demand may be there from an ownership perspective but not so much for the customer base, which might also deflate shop values. Too many owners and not enough customers is a slum.

I would love to own a shop one day on ROCKtropia (actually i want the building at Camp Crunk to turn itto a shop with big sign saying bidaddy shack )., but i dont think we need more shops at this moment. I would rather see loads more blueprints (in tech too, replace clothes and a weapons bps), Rocktropia loot reguler dropped. Also more traders, they dont have a great rep on Caly, but they would be handy here. I dont think i have ever sold to Skywalker, Zal or ketch i think they stock up with their own materials. Shop owners will only bring materials from other plants and weapons so i dont belive that will benifit our econamy. Also one of the booths at Camp Crunk is still not been handed over yet. Our population is far to small you can look at our auction also, before the recent drop of blueprints we have had 20+ pages we are now got 30+.Its hard to sell stuff here still.

I don't think more shops is the answer.

It's more likely to crash shop prices and lower confidence in investing on RT.

Fixing loot tables from mobs and BP ingredients etc will go a long way towards fixing economy. Once that's in place all that's needed is more players not shops. Playerbase at the moment is far too small to sustain more shops.

Why New Shops ?
Alot of Shops are owned by The Planet RT Manager
so make first all Shops on Auction or Make a Event Where pople can win it
If they are Sold /rewarded (and not bugged )
Than i think a Mall will be Nice in Tangerine like Twin Peaks Mall or Port Atlantis but with New Desing

I voted No. Not because i own a shop and i need more time for business. Simply because i think that it is not the priority of this planet. We need many other things more important than shops. Balancing of loots to be able to craft items are the most important with more new BP in my opinion.

His not asking if we need to build more shops? His asking shoud he release more shops to buy. That what i belive anyway.

Yes you are right. I have no problem with that. I do not think i will bid but i will keep an eye on the auction in case of ... lol

Since the start of RT i was waiting for a killer gun or something... Arkadia released what everyone was waiting for, now you can find reasons to build story of states of matters, just my 2 pecs.

If I do buy another shop on RT that's probably not too good. Better to have competition than a monopoly.

If I don't buy that's also bad because it's more than likely any more shops would go into the hands of a reseller. These shops won't be used but placed on sale at a raked up price. Very much like Bunny invests shops on calypso. So would more than likely stay unused for a number of years.

At the moment we know Arkadia and Cyrene are close to releasing shops. So the serious investors would be waiting for those and not RT.
