Considering the theme of the planet, I'd expect players to start out with an 'mp3 player' to allow them to listen to their own music in game (easier than playing in the background).

Perhaps the player could include more than just your music but also 'internet access' where players can download songs from ROCKtropia (your own iTunes store). Bands can put songs up to download either for a fee or for free.

Sorry if this already exists, still new.

A new profession could be a pyrotechnician or a light show specialist. People who can craft fireworks and lighting systems for shows. It'd be very similiar to the clothier profession in EU. They start with very simply lights in basic colors and progress to lasers, more colors, more fireworks.
