well yea 10k is a bit low but it should be able to make a start hehe
As for me being the trader no I would not be good at that, I have tried being a trader on RT before and always ended up losing Peds lol (Well was buying junk on RT and selling on calipso so 80 Ped fee each time was a killer lol)

John: I am actually trying to simplify some of my online time right now, so I cant offer to manage or trade. But If it would help I am always willing to transport back and forth so you wouldnt need to worry about the 80ped fees.

Well hopefully what I will buy is to be resold on RT and general low MU items as the last thing that this idea will affect is existing traders it is for the stuff they don't want or pay 101% etc for hehe

Well started this today
http://www.neverdie.com/traders-corn...tems-sale.html
on a small scale mailing selling what I already have (And bought items from 1 person) to generate some Peds to start for real.
Not asking for investors yet until I make a deposit on Tuesday and them work out how to offer collateral without giving the investor 500 peds of TT crap back for there 500 Peds (Any suggestions here are welcome)
Been a slow day so far and only made a few sales need to get rid of some of the high TT value items and high MU stuff to generate a few Peds extra hehe)

Sounds like a good idea. But also labour intensive. Are you going to do all the administrative work?
I think all will depent on the new BP's that are going to be released with the update in a few days. If there are new armors, weapons and maybe even clothes that are "better" than the calypso stuff, things will become interesting. I'm on RT for 2 weeks now (beeing usually on Calypso) and turned 500 PED cash into 80 PED (tt value) RT materials. Records, android parts and so on. Most pec items but also some "golden" parts, creature parts and records with a few PED tt. Now if I have to tt that loot or sell it for 105% or so this would be a terrible loss. But if crafting really takes off, hunting for those items and materials can become interesting.
I would invest my loot into such a trade federation, rather spent my time hunting for more materials than trying to negotiate the best deals for it
So maybe it's an idea to collect people who have decent stacks of RT material in their storages and are willing to put that stuff aside for a given time.
Example: I own 3 golden android arms. 10 other people too, that combined is 30 golden arms. We agree not to sell them for 2 weeks but "give" them to the trade federation. A L BP's shows up, producing a nice gun that needs 1 arm per click. A crafter will have a hard time collecting those arms from individuals or the auction, he could aproach the trade federation instead. A look into the spreadsheet would tell - aha, 30 arms available from the members, deal will be negotiated, material collected, deal done.
Of course it would be easier if all material would be dumped on one pile in advance rather than tracking storage information and collecting sold stuff, but for a start this "virtual sales" could be a risk free proof of concept. Once there's enough PED there the "pay tt value upfront, profit later" idea might work.
