If you put an item up for auction and it doesn't sell, are you still charged the auction fee?

You are charged the initial placement fee regardless if it sells and you only pay the sales fee if it sells

yea which is tricky cause you wanna put a good start bid to make sure you get what you want. I HATE auction and try to never use it.

i actually just found out what the auction fee formula is it's Commission = (0.5 + Markup * 99.5 / (1990 + Markup))

I actually use that when selling cause you can kinda figure out what the real price of something is when your selling person to person. You'll be really surprised you can sometimes sell less then what avg market value is and still get more money then if you sold it for avg market in auction.
