Fortune has shined upon me recently and I am considering opening up an inter-planetary trade route between Rocktropia and Calypso (possibly other planets in the future)

For now I am just researching what each planet has a shortage of that may be in surplus in another.

I would like input from all you ROCKSTARS on what you would like to see imported from Calypso for your use.

Thinks I have considered but don't know if there is a need for or not,

1. Crafted & Looted low level armor sets.
2. Crafted & Looted low level laser weapons (you have lots of shotguns and axes already right?)
3. Mining Amps
4. BLP amps (looted or crafted)
5. Calypso tailoring supplies (molisk & foul buttons)
6. Mid-Higher end weapons (p5a, Apis, etc...)

I really don't know how the auction transport fee works, so if anyone knows the equations or whatever is used to determine fees, please let me know.

I would appreciate any and all feedback from you guys and will try and supply your needs if I am able.

The auction transport fees seem to be based on the object's weight with a minimum of 1PED/transaction.

Thanks Majandi, I will take a look in auction at stuff traveling this way and see if I can make any sense of it from that info.

How much mining goes on up there do you know? I would like to find something to bring for my first shipment as soon as possible so I can justify the trip up there and actually start talking to people ingame about what they would like to see in the future. If there is alot of mining, I think a load of OA-103s would work pretty well, but I hate to invest a bunch of anything with out knowing the market.

I just went through auction a bunch and looked at the different transport fees for what i could find from off planet. It seems the equasion is 1ped + .23tt.

(tt*0.23)+1

So a couple of example fees would be,

1.00ped tt = 1.23ped transport fee
6.00ped tt = 2.38ped transport fee
200.00ped tt = 47ped transport fee

This makes it seem like I may want to stick to the higher tt items for trading since there is such a high transport fee on them.

tailoring suplies, p4a-p5a pistols, korss, low level mining amps 1-3, cobalt and other ores not found yet in Rocktropia, textures and skins from calypso animals.

Mining amps, breers or a mix of the two will likely be what I bring on my first trip. You think just pistols? or is there a market for the m1/m2/m3/4 series or rikers as well? I can also pick up lr32s and hl6s pretty cheap on calyso right now with the longtooth migration going on, are there many people using them on the Rock or are they more using the shotguns and stuff?

Im hoping to find a crafter who will give me some bulk deals for items to bring up.

Any more input is certainly welcome

This trip I will be trying to talk to as many people as possible and find out what needs are and offer to special order items per request if desired from calypso.

I will be selling everything at weekly mu+1% which is much MUCH cheaper than the +23% that people would have to pay in auction.

Sorry I coudln't find any good deals on them before I came. I would have to charge you guys even more than would be fair so I just didnt get any. Once I sell off all this stuff and get ready to do another trip ill take more requests from people and bring as many "special order" items as you want.
