The Original concept for this video was just to create a short musical tribute to the old version of the game, however it gradually gained momentum and evolved into a bit of a documentory film/fan fiction taking what happened on that final night and then extending to the next level.

This film gave birth to a new entity that will be launched properly late 2011 early 2012, Entropia Productions.

About Entropia Productions
Entropia Productions is a new non profit film production entity that is currently working on creating entropia inspired machinima films using the Cryengine 3 Sandbox, it aims to push the boundarys of what has been done and what is possible to the limits. We are Currently in the process of writing a screenplay for our first major production using this new setup.

Impressive. Sign me up for a motion capture suit and lets go run around in game. This would make EU an awesome game if they could impliment it and make the equipment affordable for us.

Do you plan to make movies about EU ? using in game graphics? or will you be making your own models and scenes in cryengine?

Also can I hire you to make some movies? (based on a brief that i'll give you)

I will no doubt be using a mixture of using ingame graphics and making my own models and scenes where needed depending on whats being made.

For exmaple, if i was making something based on eu's backstory, alot of it would be from scratch, but a few scenes could use ingame footage easily, all down to whatever i decide looks best and will yeild the best result. In some cases blending the two together is an option using green screen technology.

Once i have a bit of a portfolio built up i will be considering offering some services so people can hire me to make some stuff based on what they want, i guess ill add more information to what i decide with all that closer to the time. For the immediate future i want to focus on my current project and learning a whole bunch of software and figuring out the best ways to make it and so on.

When i do get to that point, the information will appear on the upcoming website, Entropia Productions. Im unable to give a ETA to how long untill i decide to launch that website.
