Looks like we have a quite a few newborns on ROCKtropia since the news of the Asteroid sale hit the internet.

actualy started a Soc yesterday on RT called Sons Of Anarchy patching over the waves of freelancers any help for my worms would be appriciated i ran out of ND faps to give away lol

the best jump start would be a temporary shopkeeper that buys sweat to b honest so my worms don't get to lazy by getting free stuff

I'm on Calypso right now picking up a consignment of Pixie, Goblin and Gnome parts, which will be brought to Rocktropia, and sold on for TT value, with sweat as a payment method.

If there's a wave of newcomers then its crucial that we keep them here, and keep them happy!

You can also try and contact Dallas on EP - who is in charge of our Newbie programe, Adopt a Newbie (which Narfi also used). Perhaps he has some parts leftover, which he will donate to a good course ?

You would have thought so yeah, but the uptake is generally quite slow :P

I have a few suppliers on Calypso however I'm currently overloaded with Shins, but very few Harnesses or Arms...

If you are selling stuff to the new players in exchange for sweat another good idea would be rookie gear, there is none in the TT on Rocktropia, so both mining and hunting rookie gear would be great for the newcommers.

I have found that alot of them have found their way to wet wolf creek "sweat camp" so if cod looks quiet jump over there and take a peek.

I've had a full on few weeks of sweating around CoD and yeah a lot of newbies joined in regards to the $335k sale they heard about.
Wet Wolf creek is a great spot to sweat if you have ammo, as is the PvP Docklands on BAMF.
CoD is a better spot to start with no weapons because you can quickly learn to use the turrets at the club entrance to your advantage.

Good to see more new avatars, hopefully for the long term!

Glad to see that there are more newbies inhabiting ROCKtropia. I've been on RT for a while now, so whenever I have an opportunity to spend some time, I wouldn't mind helping out as well. I'll see what I can do to contribute to newbie gear as well, and help out healing the sweaters when I online for a bit.
