    Thumbs down New to Rocktropia

I must say that I'm disappointed.
I joined the game in Rocktropia and so far it has been a very bad experience.

People told me that I must get at least 5000 sweats before being able to sell and buy something useful, but at the rate I'm collecting it is going to take at least a month.

Everywhere I read people say that I should pay, but I won't pay for something I haven't figured out yet.

Everywhere I go is just empty and I can't leave the planet to see if I have a better luck in Calipso.

Do you guys think it is the case of deleting my account and creating a new one?

Sad to see you had a bad starting experence, the normally amount of sweat to see is 1k which sells for 4 Peds and if you play near the City of dreams there are normally alot of players around.

When you get 1k sweat look for one the the people on Club Neverdie steps (Sap, Desire, Narfi or me) and we will buy the sweat or help you with some items to get started.

A couple of things you might consider,

    1. Sweating in groups makes you more efficient, You get hit less so you succeed more which means you collect more sweat per hour.
    2. Walking in the wilderness in 3rd person looking for rocks or fruit on the ground may bring you a quicker profit. Ill pay you 2pec per stone and 1/2 pec per fruit. (you usually find them in stacks of 15-250)
    3. Hanging out at the City of Dreams will always find you people new and old. The old can give advice, and the new you can learn with. Its a social game so you wont be getting the full advantage of it if you try to play on your own without communication with the players around you.

    4. The two planets are different, each is suited to different personalities of players. I think right now with all the people buying sweat and stuff around city of dreams for 4ped per K that if you want to play non-deposit that Rocktropia will actually be the better choice. I have been talking to people who have told me that people are selling sweat for 2ped per K at twin peaks on calypso, so thats half what you would get here on the ROCK.

    5. What time zone are you from and what times of day do you play? There are always people around City of Dreams (COD) when im online, and with as many people playing from Europe and Australia as well, im pretty sure its busy around the clock. (im from alaska)

GL in whatever you decide, and have fun

I'm getting about 4 sweats every 5 minutes (the extraction tool works once every 20-30 tries and 9 out of 10 times the vixen moves or attack me and I get nothing). This means I'll have to sweat for 20 hours for 4 PEDs.

I read at entropiaplanets forum that I would need 40 PED to buy a ticket to Calypso, this means I would have to do this extremely boring task for 200 hours just to get off planet and then sweat for God knows how many hours to get tools for a profession?

Thanks for the help. but that is quite an effort and I don't have the time or patience for this... I don't know how many people are willing to do this, but it seems to me that sweat should be pretty expensive as it is very hard to get.

Please check points 1 and 2 i made in the previous post. I havent had time to sweat much recently, but I dont think its uncomon to get 250-400sweat per hour when working in a team. You can aim in 1st person mode by pressing the space bar, so that even if the mob moves, you can still remain on target and not fail.

You might also check the video tutorials here, they are stickied in the tutorial section, they might give you some ideas on some of the more obvious things you have missed trying to be self taught
