    Default Firewall mk.III BP materials????

I see narfi is selling a set of LIMITED firewall armor for 3k PED? WTF? If it were UL the set would only be worth about 3k PED! Did he get f'ked over with the materials required? I mean.... if he has to sell a set of armor for 3k PED in order to get his money back or make a small profit then what the hell kind of a prize whas that? Dude got 7 boat anchors for his Jormungand! Only the odd "I wanna look uber but can't afford it so maybe this Firewall Mk.III will help" idiot is gonna buy a set at that price! Could damn near get (L) Supremacy or (L) Shadow for 3k PED!

On the other hand if he's figuring he'll corner the market and pull a "Dante Amp" type of deal where he trickles a set of armor out once every few mths then.... well I guess he's hanging himself so it's no-one's fault but his own.

*Note* I noticed that the armor is about 600% MU. I also noticed that the ingots required are about 600% MU. So I then came to the conclusion that Narfi probably needs about 500 PED TT of the ingot in order to justify 3k PED for a set. In case you's are all wondering how I came to the clonclusion that he got raped with the ingredients required.

Yes its needs shit loads of Hard Rock that at this moment. Can only be looted form a couple of mobs and they will only make you a couple ingots also. These Armour sets are very very rare. I think they might only be 3 or 4 whole sets in the game.

its taken me several months to collect enough hard ingot and I payed alot more than 600% for most of it, that is why I am offering the option of paying with Hard Ingot if you want, then you can set your own markup depending on how you buy or camp it.

I would rather sell a set a week than a set a year, I would also like to be able to use it myself, but I can't even make more than 2 or 3 sets a year.
It is nice looking armor, so I figured I would make an F set as thats the best chance for a sale as a vanity armor. I was pretty clear about that in my sales thread I thought.

    Hopefully that answers your questions?

Yes it does answer my questions. I just don't understand how what should have been a GREAT prize ends up being a "not so great" prize. I mean I kinda assumed you'd get an UL BP set and the odd rare (L) bp would drop to crafters thus leaving you the "Winner" of the prize, an opportunity to make a constant reasonable amount off each piece you sell. Evidently this isn't the case and though I'm not a "NEVERDIE Fan boi" (even though I've been called that on numerous occasions) but I have a funny feeling that the problems you're running into are a MindArk balancing issue and not a "NEVERDIE putting the screws to one of his most loyal customers" issue.

It's really nothing against you Narfi or Neverdie (I dont' think). I just don't see how the game needs another "Dress-up" armor and it pisses me off that this Firewall Mk.III (which should be good in HELL) is nothing more than a dress-up armor because no-one in thier right mind will use it as regular hunting gear at that MU.

I belive Neverdie is in the process now of sorting out the balance issues of Hard Rock and othe materials. As it a key item in the manufacting of many items.

Your right, I got screwed. But I don't blame NDS, I think they really intended for it to be a useful armor in hell and one that the winners of the blueprints (Zal and I) could use to sell on a regular basis.
Oh well :P (got my guitar last night if you want to buy that, it wasn't a lemon )

What happend to Narfi and me for this armor event was not really nice. We loosed incredible amout of money in order to win the event and at the end the BP are not interesting as a Thunderbird cost 101% on Calypso.
Even if Hard Rock was TT food it will costs too much to craft the FireWall armor.

I think NDS tried to do something nice but they forgot that thunderbird costs nothing so the Firewall armor are useless with current stats :-(

I do not blame them, i was stupid to participate to an event without knowing what will be the stats of the prizes before.
