At the moment I now have 34 disciples and growing and would like to extend an offer than a few people on RT have already took up.

Most of the new players want to try out of main planet before they commit to pay and play so I have been doing a sponsored mining program for them to let them try the game at no cost.

How it currently is working:

You give me:

X amount (in multiples of 50 (25 drops when a rookie finder is broken)) of probes and I will get a disciple to mine for you with a Rookie finder and return to you all ores (Just ore at the moment) found on there mining run (I will supply the Rookie finder and loan them an excavator)

I will act as a guarantor against the TT value of your probes so if someone runs off with them I will refund you.

If you are interested drop me a PM or see me at lagoon (No fee is needed but if a new guys gets you a HOF feel free to give him a tip lol)

Firstly, the TT return of the mined ores hardly exceed the TT that we give you, with a small run like that it cannot break even, although we have MU in ores, so we have no benefit in doing that.

Secondly, this is not a question of your honesty, but everyone can easily go buy 30 peds of lyst and give back to me and telling me that this is what they found. 30 peds return from a 50 peds run is very reasonable. It's just like we throw money out of the window.

Giving out free peds never work, you should just buy sweat from them or tell them go looting oil in THING.

You seem to miss understand the reason for this, it is not so you or any other sponsor can make a profit it is so new players can try out mining (They can already do hunting via the artic) for free before they deposit.

I have been doing this myself for a week or so now (And got 2 players who have donated some gear and got there nice mix of ore back) its just the more people I get the less it costs 1 person lol

You can ask people to sponsor noobs by buying unlimited amount of sweat, paying MU on every single loot even the amount is so tiny, etc. However, it's nice to see that there are people who donate, but I'm still against giving too much free peds to noobs.

I agree and once the new missions are added (Like mining and crafting) there will be no need to do this

I like helping people, but I don't have unlimited funds to do it with. That is why when I have opportunities like this for a symbiotic relationship with new players I take it.
I don't have the time to mine for the specific ores that I need, esp since they are easier found without amps.
So this is not only a way to help new players skill and develop trust in the system, but it is a way for me to save a ton of time which I don't have to waste.

Got a few sponsors now thanks guys most have invested 10-20 Peds and had there 1st lot of ores returned to them.

At the moment it is taking me about 8 hours to find players for all the sponsors so you generally get back your ore the next day (Unless you are on all day like me)

I am not sure if the people want to remain anonymous supporters or not but feel free to comment here

Great program, yes i have 1 or 2 post so i may not be useful here but i gave john 20 peds and see what happens if i lose it big deal but if i got a return we will go from there.

1st time i put 20 peds in i got return of 26.xx TT value.

2nd time i put another 20 and dont know yet will let you know
