I know this has been done before, and I personally know the person currently doing it on RockTropia, we are friends -- but I would like to offer my services of traveling to Club Never Die (CND) and purchasing various Ores and EnMatters & Oils from the soc's there and then returning to Calypso to sell and dispense them. It can be very costly to travel from planet to planet, and it isn't at all economically feasable to have someone from each social group from your planet traveling to Calypso and back, when they have to pay a 40 PED fee to go there, and another 40 PED fee to come back.

So what I am interested in knowing are a few things...

Would you be interested in having me set up a regular and ongoing trade route between planets? And if so, I need to know the volume of Ores EnMatter's I'd be dealing with on a weekly basis.

I don't want you to have to feed items to the TT that I can pay you a markup % on, and I also don't want to give the impression I'd be doing my service completely free of charge. I would have to run some #'s and figure out a fair % to pay in order to recoup my travel costs (this means I'd be stuck on Next Island until I had least 3,000 or 4,000 PED worth of material before I went back to Calypso) maybe a lot more.

What I would like to establish from this thread is that I am willing to come to the planet once a week to start off. perhaps twice -- maybe even more, I just want to know if theres enough interest on the planet for a serious buyer to come in and help you avoid the auction listing fee's + the auction shipping fee that is ruining all trade possibilities between the planets right now. It is my understanding that if you list 100 PED worth or ores on the auction, if another planet wants to purchase them they pay 23% the TT value + 1 Ped... that means they'd pay 124 PED + an additional mu% on whatever ore it was just to buy your ore. In short, its nearly impossible for you get other planets to purchase your ores and EnMatters without taking a serious loss on them, or without traveling planets yourself. What can be difficult though is just letting 1,000's of PED you have be stuck in your Ore's in your storage until it becomes worth it to travel planets.

Thats where I come in. If I can get most of the socials on board, or most of the big miners on board to sell me a few hundred PED each (or thousands I don't know) to me, and pay you out a fair % so it benefits us both -- let me know.

please respond back with the following information answering these few questions:

1. Would you want me to come to your planet to purchase Ores/EnMatters/Oils?

2. How often would you want me to come to your planet to offer these trade services?

3. How Much PED in Materials will you have for sale each day/week/month ?

4. If I do come to your Planet, where and when is the best place to meet you and purchase your Ores/EnMatters/Oils.

5. What are the biggest items of concern that you want me to purchase so you can make a % on, instead of selling them to the TT or Just letting them sit in your storage?

6. What items can I bring to your planet from Calypso to sell to you (And save you money from paying a shipping fee)?

7. Is there a need for a service like this? What is your opinion on this idea?

8. What is your name, do you belong to a social group or are you a freelancer? Do you represent more than one person, if so how many?



The last thing is I also wanted to mention that if I begin this service, I want you to know I don't plan on taking advantage of anyone -- Honesty is my first policy. I have established myself on Calypso as a fair trader and I am known there, you can ask around If we can make this a mutually benefical business where your getting more $ for your items than you'd get off the auction and of course more than tt -- and I can recoup my travel costs (80 PED) by buying in large volume, I think we can make it work!

I just don't want to show up on the planet and waste time trying to purchase things

So If I could meet and add friends to my friend list that are leaders of the social groups there -- we could coordinate an effort for you to collect all your ores and enmat's and items from your soc, then coordinate a time and place for me to meet you and pick them up.

I am also discussing this with a very well known and established trader on RockTropia --

*Along with my services, if you need to me deliver things to other players on the other worlds, or purchase you something from another world and bring it to you when I come to the planet, I would be happy doing this free of charge -- I only ask that if you have me buy something for you, you pay me the amount I paid for it, I am not seeking to profit off of delivering goods or exchanging things between planets for you, I would consider that a favor. (this does not apply to Ores/EnMatters, etc ... just small things like a weapon or a piece of armor or a vehicle you want to deliver to someone, when it becomes a large volume of something I will notice your trying to bypass the shipping fee and take advantage of me, which I don't think would be fair :P but anything small, or any couple of items u want me to get for you, or you want me to give to someone I would be happy to do for you

Ok the simple thing is we need ORDERS!! You have Ped to invest want a fair Price setup a order for the price you want it at and let the chips fall where they may..

Yes m8, your services would be required, but like Doc said i think you should do what Doc said first before u make a final choice, we do need traders on rock badly, but we still lack new rock blueprints, so untill more blueprints drop, i would suggest just hanging around for a week getting to know everyone

It looks like I'm getting very positive feedback so far from this idea I have gotten a couple PM's and questions about it, and I encourage those of you who are interested to PM me or reply on the thread, don't hesitate to ask a question or offer a suggestion! :P

So, what I'd like to accomplish is this:

I want to get social leaders, big wigs, freelancers, shakers and movers, and the little guy's on RockTropia on my Friend List. I want to coordinate with those interested in trading a time and place to meet, where I purchase your Ores and items that have MU% of around 106 or great (we'll try mostly Ores to begin with -- but we can discuss all kinds of things later or in PMs).

I would really like to have the social leaders make an effort to buy or collect the Ores from their social group throughout the week and then meet with me every Sunday between a certain time thats convenient for the majority of people. We can meet up, get to know eachother, and execute the trades as quickly and smoothly as possible. This goes for the Freelancers as well, if you have 20 PED in ores or 2 PED, or 2,000 PED of Ores, I will trade with you. you just need to make sure we can meet up at a certain time and place and coordinate it with me throughout the week... send me a PM if your interested, and we can work out a way to add eachother to eachother's friendlist (I am friends with Narfi, and he knows just about everyone on the planet, so if we join a hunting group we can get on eachothers friend list easy that way).

The benefit to having you all on my friendslist is that throughout the week, you can ask me to get you items from Calypso, and not have to pay the shipping fee . Of course the items need to be within reason so they dont tie up 3-4k of my PEDs :P

We can discuss %'s on items and I will run #'s to figure out what I have to pay on the Ores to cover my travel costs, and give you the best possible rates for my services.

So what Im after is getting connected to the Social leaders, and freelancers who are interested in meeting me each Sunday @ a certain time, and also a list of Items you are most interested in trading with me.

I wont be buying eye oils, or muscle oils, or items with similar MU% to them simply because the mu% on them alone right now will prove to be a huge loss for me, even if I purchased them at TT from you and sold them on Calypso, so we've got to deal in items with at least 106-107% markup and higher. My goal is to be able to help you get the most PED out of your items while making a modest % for my services at the same time. I don't plan on making 5 or 10% profit off your items, thats just unreasonable and greedy. I also don't plan on eating all the travel costs myself to provide a completely "Free" service for you either :P because I don't think that would be fair to me... I'm talking about making around 2% commission after expenses. Which is going to be like making 20 PEDs for every 1,000 PED's I buy... In return you wont have to just keep all your Ores in storage or feed them to the TT, or list them on auction multiple times paying auction fee's before they finally sell.

If I need to come more than once a week, suggest it in a PM. For now, let me get to know the people on the planet who can connect me with all those interested in this idea

send a PM and let me know what times sunday's you can meet, where, and how much PED worth of items you can have for me on a weekly basis, and what you are interested in selling me, and also what you are interested in having me get for you.
