ROCKtropians! Welcome to the first of many competitions to come to the brand new capital of road racing: ROCKtropia!

Now that vehicles have been released into the Entropia Universe, it's time to hold an outstanding competition. Your challenge - if you chose to accept it - will require you to put your recording and video-editing skills to the ultimate test. You'll have one month to complete your mission, so start your engines!

To celebrate the upcoming release of Cheri Moon's new dance hit "One More Crazy Summer" we are offering digital downloads of different mixes. You must take one of these mixes and create a music video on ROCKtropia. The majority of the footage must involve one of the new cars. You may also include some other things such as dancing, hunting, running, etc. We don't care how you do it, just do it!

Now for the rules
* Download the music HERE in .zip format
* Only footage taken from ROCKtropia will be allowed. If any shots of Calypso make their way into your entry, you're out.
* Please do not add text into your video with the exception of your avatar's name at the very beginning of the video so we know who the entry belongs to.
* Video must be recorded at 720x480p in High Quality.
* Deadline to enter this competition is Sunday July 25th.

How to enter
* Once your video is complete, upload your video to YouTube.
* Your YouTube video MUST be named "Cheri Moon - One More Crazy Summer in RockTropia".
* Once uploaded, post a link to your video on the NeverDie.com forums HERE!

PRIZE
Since this is the first major competition in ROCKtropia, why not have an outstanding prize? The winner will receive 5000 PED and their very own apartment in City of Dreams. The winner will be announced in a live event Friday July 30th (time TBD).

It sounds like you want us to run EU at 720x480 in High Quality, but this resolution seems way too low. I don't think EU would even support that.

Are you just looking to have us run EU in high quality mode and encode the final video to 720x480? If so, what aspect ratio do you want? 16:9, 4:3, 3:2?

From my experience with other video competitions the ideal format for youtube is 1280x720p. It provides a nice widescreen HD resolution but is also down-encoded by youtube to 320p and 480p for a total of 3 choices.

Sorry for wanting to know these exact details, but I don't want to be disqualified if I don't meet your criteria.

you right 720x480 isn't HD for me. i prefer use pal HD ( 1280*720 ).

this thing about high quality, do you have to run the game with High settings?? I get terrible FPS if I do, some scenes will feature high settings though...

Use something like Fraps and record full-size at 30FPS. Then, when you edit it in whichever timeline movie editor (PiTiVi is my video editor), you save the output at the resolution Marius gave. The game doesn't have to be run in that. You can run the game at 1680xwhatever if you want to. I can just about guarantee you that the size Marius gave is simply meant as the final size of the edited product.

I must say i tryed to unzip that folder and all it did was mess up my computer.. is there anywhere else i can get cheri moons songs.
i found it on Amazon.co.uk but because of some problem of me being in the states it will not let me even purchas the album
