the event does specifically require RT BPS!!! So we are good to go!

I play on a lower end laptop and on a laggy Internet connection,
3 of my screenshots came out without the time stamp on them.
I want to know if we are allowed other ways to validate our times/globals.

My suggestion since It would work for me and I think it is fair,

1. If it appears on Tracker and you have a screenshot then it is ok.
2. If it does not appear on Tracker (happens alot on Rocktropia :/ ) But there is a hof in your screenshot that is unique enough to be looked up on tracker to verify the time, then it is good.

All 3 of my missed time stamp Screenshots are listed on Tracker, so If you allow for rule #1 verification, then I would be ok.
2 of my missed time stamp Screenshots show unique HOFs by other avatars, that can be verified on tracker, so if rule #2 was allowed then I could count them.

I will PM Neverdie and Tenacity about this, but would appreciate feedback from other players as well.
I have no desire to make their job harder by making complicated rules or needing to research every single global, but I feel that people putting the time and money into an event like this deserve the right to present their case. (the work of presenting proof for each instance would be on the player)

ps. I set the delay timer for longer, so I am hoping this doesn't happen again.
(am hunting WAY over my head for the event, so there are times I can't check screenshots during the hunt)

narfi, do you uncheck some chat channels? Like damage and skills and our local chat, then you have more time to capture before the global message is gone. And of course increase the size of the chat window, might not be convenient though.

If I'd comment on the points you suggested I'd only allow the first one. And it shouldn't be possible to prove that with a screenshot, to easy to fake, you need a public profile on ET. And it also has to be a ROCKtropia unique mob!!

Hey Guys Im all for fairness... So If its on tracker and it can be double checked then I think we can forgive a missing date? But its extra work for the judges.. But lets do our best to get the time stamps

I know the screenie thing is a abit archiac, but since we dont have access to the tools MA are using for Merry mayhem, I prefer thjis old fashioned way

on ET get it to capture print screen key and after you get a global just wait a few secs and spam the key a few times

Amber: yeah, ive had issues with tracker before and am not using it now, am using XandraX now which seems to be more stable, but there is still bad lag on my computer (dont know if its internet or gfx) which will cause the screen capture software to take the picture before the u and p have had time to show in chat. (I think the current friendlists are causing me even more issues with 3+ second screen freezes :/ )

Ok with not getting into to much details here (thought about creating a dedicated thread for event discussions, should have done it right away)...
You could delete the log file from your computer before you start so its tiny instead of huge , that might improve, but I've no clue how XandraX handles the log file.

You could manually press p & u and whatever screenshot key you assign, normally only fails due to the operator error. ET doesn't capture anything for Tetania at all on RT, and it was so useless to me, I don't use it anymore here.

i just wanna make sure i get this right, u want me to post a screenie for each global for the 7 days i do? So if i average 50 per day you want me to post 350 screenies?
