Wednesday afternoon ended up being rather interesting. There was an individual in Dome 4 claiming he owned it and that everyone else had to get out (no names --> "Ace" from Bacchus Elites), and while he continued to PK everyone who entered the dome with his VAT-100 ME (in noob clothes no less), the chaos came to an end when this "uber wannabe" wasn't getting the attention he wanted, and rather than standing in the middle of the dome all alone with no one to PK, he ended up joining Moonie and I and Asti and Klod and Stoffer in a dance party at the North end TP.
The streaming music in the dome was kickin' for sure, and after a while, Klod and Stoffer had to leave bcuz it was bedtime for them. The Dome 4 PK bandit finally left as well, leaving Moonie and I and Asti still jammin' out to the streaming music ... we just couldn't stop.
Asti decided to be our stepping stool so that Moonie and I could do a little air dancing "Moon and Star Style" ... and as a result, it presented a few pics that were worthy of sharing. Three of the pics were provided by Asti which I have identified.
Here are two different perspectives to one position we were dancing in, but caught the essence (literally) of the moment.

I don't know what it is about me and Daspletors, but I came up with this crazy idea to go do a "Dance with the Daspletors" to see if we could get a few good pics by those flowers that I love so much. Besides, the Daspletor is CND's Mascot and I like to pay them a visit now and then as a staff rep just to see how things are going. They may not always be that friendly, but now and then they provide some pretty interesting MOB chats, as well as entertaining moments.
Once again, Asti gave us a boost in front of the flower so that we could do a little air dancing before a Daspletor got too close for comfort. We stood and looked at each other as if to say ... are you ready for the risk? ... oh HELL ya, I love playin' in Dome 17 with my pink buddies ... lol.
We started dancing, oblivious to the fact that there might be a Daspletor nearby, and upon further examining of the following pic, it's quite clear that we were NOT alone. Just to the left of the smaller flower lurked the deadly dude that was inching his way closer and closer, but Moonie and I didn't care, we were getting our dancing in and taking pics as quick as we could.
Moonie and I were enjoying the moment while keeping an eye out. Asti was close by watching and taking a few of her own pics. It didn't look like anything was coming near, so Moonie and I decided to get even a little closer and really get into the rhythm of the streaming music through the dome.
All of a sudden, I spotted Big "D" heading our way ... I alerted Moonie that we were about to have a visitor. We continued dancing while the Daspletor came closer and closer.
Moonie said for me to keep dancing, and that he would lean back and try to talk with Big "D" about giving us a break this time. I said I didn't think that it would work, but go ahead and give it a try. Next thing I know, Moonie is leaning down with his head under the lip of the flower, face to face with this Daspletor Old Alpha. I kept dancing hoping that his strategy would work, but not hopeful.

Things seemed to have been going ok, until I saw Moonie twirl around with the skull and crossbones above his head. Big "D" started to walk away, but while I was still in a dance mode, I yelled at him and said he wasn't playing nice.
I said he should have tried a dance with us and even gave him some foot movements that he looked like he was trying to do, but no deal ... he promptly started moving in my direction, and "Oops, there it is!" ... a 102 critical, but it didn't take me out, just stunned me a bit, causing me to throw my head back.
I guess he didn't like the idea that I didn't have any armor on and withstood his nasty blow, so he promptly smacked me again, but this time for a whopping 181 critical. I just don't get how they can do that when they aren't facing you ... beats the crap outta ME. I also don't understand how Moonie got to stay elevated and I ended up kissin' dirt. I think it's time for another MOB chat.
As Big "D" walked away, leaving only a shadow ... it was then that I realized that Moonie's air death gave him an advantage over viewing another kind of moon.
Upon revival in the Control Room, we met up with quite a few ppl, but we promptly finished our dance together before signing off for the night. Moonie had to leave for work, and I had to go grade research papers for class tomorrow ... oh how I hate this part of the job, although some of the renderings end up being quite interesting.
A big thank you to Asti for being our pal (as always), and for giving us a boost when we needed it. We are ever the spontaneous souls, and the "Moon & Star Adventures" are just beginning. CND has a lot of nooks and crannies that we plan to explore, so stay tuned for more stories.
