I had signed on to check something at auction, completely forgetting that it was the day of the dance contest in the disco. I got a PM from a friend looking for a shuttle to Calypso, and since I have a nice group of pilots on my FL I always take the time to help out whenever possible. The only contact I had on my FL who was able to assist was "Seeker" ... but I knew that I could count on him for sure, bcuz he hasn't failed me yet.

(I'm going somewhere with this, so bear with me!)

However ... when I PM'd him inquiring about shuttles, I got quite a different response than the one I expected ... he said ... "Hurry to the Disco, we need you as a Judge" ... Whoa, I would have moved at Mach2 with my hair on fire if I could, but we all know that atmospheric conditions on this asteroid preclude roadrunner style running of any kind.

Upon arriving at the disco, Seeker met me at the door and quickly added me to the Judges Team so that we could communicate with each other regarding dancer elimination as the contest proceeded. We all took strategic positions in order to observe and evaluate dancer moves.



It was a smooth deliberation that eventually dwindled down the contestants to 7 . . .



And then to 4 ... but it looked like Silver Fox wanted an up close look at the contestants, even though he wasn't participating. However, it seemed as though he was getting a little bump and grind of his own by one of the eliminated contestants ... Silver Fox? ... I think you may have missed an opportunity.



The contest was soon over and it was time to announce the winners.

(I was only able to get the pic of Seeker presenting the winning prize to Blanco since my fraps was acting retarded, and I also forgot to scroll forward to get a better pic ... sorry ... will be more conscientious in the future. Also looking into better software for pic taking. Just ignore my flaunting ass and look up and to the left to see the hot chick in pink - Blanco- and Seeker in Nem in front of her.)



It was a fun event that had everybody shakin' what their momma gave them, and a great experience and opportunity to see just how creative ppl can get with their dance moves.

Even after the party, Skalman got his groove on with a couple of babes, but not sure why he would want one dancin' on his head.



Suffice it to say ... can't wait for the next such event to occur. Thx to Seeker, the other judges, the non-stop creative dancers, and to all who made it an enjoyable event.

Looks like I missed a great event

I took a trip to the planet surface late afternoon and it took me nearly 4 hours to get back, suffice to say I wasn't happy.
