Congratulations again to NEVERDIE (Jon) and SHEBA (Cheri) on their IRL and virtual wedding. We thank you deeply for sharing this most special of days with all of us at Club NEVERDIE. It was truly the first event of it's kind ever, and one that launches yet another chapter in an environment that continues to elevate our virtual world experiences to the next level.

I felt honored to be able to witness the love that filled the CND Hot Tub while Jon and Cheri exchanged their vows, but the extension of that love flowed non-stop from the members of the community who were at the wedding to share their congratulations and joy as well. I have put together some photos as a rememberance of this most special of occasion.

As I walked the catwalk and approached the Hot Tub, I could see the decorations that Xzion and Meri provided. It was a whole different feeling this time than any other time that I had been in the Hot Tub. Seeing NEVERDIE standing there in anticipation, there was no mistake that a wedding was about to take place, and the CND Boss was getting married!

As I entered the Hot Tub, I saw many familiar faces, but all eyes were on NEVERDIE, Sheba, and Robot Boy, ND's son. An avatar named "Vicar" was the Minister who officated over the ceremony as we all stood respectful in honor of this occasion. Stoikow and Stryker stood almost like soldiers, and as I took an empty space next to Stryker, Legion joined me to my left.

When our esteemed forum Administrator (Pollus) arrived, we shifted positions again. This time I was in between Pollus and Stoikow, and the best man looking all proper for this wedding (Skalman) stood at ease waiting for the ceremony to begin.

In the meantime, more and more community members assembled in the Club to extend their well wishes to the happy couple, and to celebrate this most joyous occasion.

Inside the Hot Tub, other people like Dannei, Slick, LeeCumiskey, Ido, Tedt, and Xzion were anxiously awaiting the start of the ceremony while a special avatar was filming the occasion. There was a sort of silent comraderie that filled the Hot Tub, and for me, almost gave the feel of a collective hug that said we wish you well. It was very difficult being in the Hot Tub and standing still while listening to pulsating streaming sounds filtering throughout the Club waiting for the ceremony to start. Dannei couldn't contain himself so he just let loose.

Everyone in the Club, as well as anyone listening to CND Live through the radio link at the forum was able to hear the actual ceremony conducted my the minister, as well as the vows that were exchanged by Jon and Cheri. However, it wasn't official until Jon's son Taleisen gave his ok. I don't know about anyone else, but I had tingles almost like a rush in excitement for this first ever virtual and IRL wedding. After the ceremony concluded, congratulations rang throughout the Club in honor of this momentous occasion. It wasn't long before we started dancing in celebration of the newly married couple to
"Sweet Dreams" by Annie Lennox. It just doesn't get any better than this.

ND and Sheba had some computer issues and often CTD, but while Pollus and I were enjoying a celebration dance, the Club air was filled all of a sudden with multiple rays of fine white light that startled me.

At first I thought something was happening to my own computer, or maybe another glitch in the matrix that was about to provide me with more space views if I moved just right. However, I soon discovered that it was none other than SilverFox playing with one of his virtual toys, not to mention a pretty intimidating red dagger, but despite his uberness, I was able to engage him in a dance while we were waiting for ND and Sheba to sign back in for their wedding dance. Pollus had to leave so I enjoyed my new dance partner until ND and Sheba returned.

Sheba was able to sign back in, but ND was still dealing with his computer issues, so in the absence of the Mr., I was able to have a dance with ND's lovely bride ... oops, make that lovely "wife" ... until he returned. She's got her own groove thang goin' on, and I'm sure she could teach this dancin' diva a thing or two.

I thought it only fitting that I capture the lovely new Mrs. NEVERDIE in all her splendid wedding glory, kinda like a special moment before the Mr. got back from computer glitches.

ND came back, but I think he was confused, bcuz aren't you suppose to do this beFORE the wedding? Maybe it was just that good and he wanted to live it all over again. Whatever the motivation, I was able to capture this special moment on film.

It wasn't long before ND realized that they were already married, and now it was time for the happy couple to have their wedding dance together. There was no mistake that there was a strong love between them, and they only had eyes for each other.

Another CTD for ND, and Sheba was left dancing on her own again. I was inspired by her determination to continue in his absence, and since it made me think of the absence of my own sweet love, I was feelin' the warmth and decided to kick it up a notch. I quickly changed and grooved out with Sheba until her Mr. came back.

It seemed ND wasn't coming back, and since some of the people on the main dance floor were leaving, I decided to head down and say a proper hello and goodbye. Upon arriving on the main floor, it was shades of parties past, bcuz many of the same familiar "CND Dance Club Playmates" were rockin' out like the last party never ended. Some even giving Fliss a run for her air dancing ped. Oooo ... so many hotties, so little time. I see it didn't take Asti long to strip down to practically nothing, but at least she wasn't wielding the club this time. Looks like others followed suit and lost some clothing as well, but that's what happens when you fall under the spell of the magic that is so Club NEVERDIE.

While Asti kept Cat focused on her new turquoise underwear, it looked as though there was an Olympic air dancing contest going on. Far be it from Dannei to remain grounded for TOO long, and by the looks of it, Fliss has a whole lotta practicin' to do to top THIS one ... literally. While all this was going on, I enjoyed having a boogie moment alone, but had an eye on Water in his Prancer over there, and wondered just how many of those Prancer Punks it took to make those shorts. Besides, I am predicting that Water is going to be one of those dancers to watch out for at the MIH dance contests.

It wasn't long before we had a little groove train goin' on. Cat moved in behind me, and then Dannei behind him, but I'm not sure who the hottie was in front of me. Good thing I was keepin' my eye on Water though, looked like he overindulged himself and needed to take a break.

The groove train was cool, and lasted for a few minutes or so, but then I heard this snappin' of a whip all around me, and when I turned to see what was going on, there stood "Fade" ready for a whip challenge, so I engaged him.

Fade and I snapped a few, but then we both noticed that Dannei had fallen down on the job ... literally. Perhaps his level of air dancing caused him to be a little lightheaded. Fade and I decided that we needed to snap him out of it, so we got busy.

We were able to bring him out of his lethargy long enough to have a dance with me, but Fade stood by ready in case he had a falling out again and stopped dancing.

It was getting late and more people were leaving, and it was just about time for me to leave as well. I planned on getting the pics together so that I could post them right away at the forum, but I wanted to head back up to the Hot Tub one last time to get a solo pic inside the heart for Blood Moon (Moonie).

It wasn't long before I heard Psycho Al say ... you look lonely up there all by yourself MS9, you want company? I said sure, bring those hot hands of yours up here and warm up the Hot Tub. Al is always accommodating and it didn't take him long to show up in the Hot Tub ready to heat things up. Between him, Skalman, and JD, I've got fireballing covered.

Psycho Al's a sweetie, and always willing to rev up the ol' firestorm to warm things up, so after the temperature in the Hot Tub was elevated a few degrees, we enjoyed a last dance together before it was time for me to head off to the apartment.

When it came time for me to leave, I walked down the catwalk toward the exit that leads into the VIP Lounge but stopped halfway there. As I looked up into the vast universe and saw Calypso hanging there so peacefully, I could only reflect on the specialness of the evening and count my lucky stars that I had an opportunity to be a part of the first ever virtual and IRL wedding in this magnificent environment that many of us love and call home.

As I continued my walk downstairs and to the TP in the main club area, I glanced over at those who were still carrying on with the after party. Once again, the die-hard "CND Dance Club Playmates" were bringing it home, but more than that, we had new faces gracing our electric enviroment and enjoying themselves. I heard quite frequently throughout the night that they had no idea that we had this much fun "up here" ... and the beat goes on!
