Just a quick intro about myself to any future disciple.

My ingame name is Bobbie Rob Mullen. I call CND my home but sometimes you may find me wondering the vast wilderness of Calypso. I started playing PE in November of 2005 and I have been addicted ever since. Since beginning I have learned a lot by myself but even more so with the help of friends within this great game. My main occupation is hunter but I like to try my hand at mining and crafting too. I also own a shop at CND (#16) that sells ores/ enamtter and other various items. I am the leader of the Dirty Dozen which currently consists of 16 wonderful members. If you don't see me in game, you most likely will see one of them wondering about since a couple of them own apartments at CND.

Well enough about myself. Here is what I have to offer and what I expect.

1) I will be available to give advice anytime it is needed.
2) I will do tp runs on both continents when possible.
3) I will conduct team hunts with the disciple.
4) I will show good spots to sweat/hunt newbie mobs.
5) I will try my best to find the disciple a good society to join.
6) I will help in finding good contacts within the PE community.
7) I will provide you with the resources needed to make PE easier to navigate.

What I expect is:

1) No whiners or beggars. It is a total turnoff and quite annoying after a while.
2) A mature, friendly, trustworthy disciple.
3) Someone who is looking to have fun first and make money later.
4) Someone who is willing to contribute to this wonderful community as much as possible.

Reward system:

I will provide a reward system for progress made towards graduation.
The reward system will work as follows:
Acquire 2000 Sweat: opalo rifle + 1k ammo
5% Progress - Pixie harness
10% Progress - Fap - 5
20% Progress - Pixie face mask
40% Progress - Pixie thighs
50% Progress - Pixie shins + Pixie Gloves
60% Progress - Pixie arms
80% Progress - 1k ammo
Graduation - 2k ammo or equivalent

If a disciple is a depositor and decides to purchase items rather than wait, I will provide ammo/bombs/probes equivalent to reward. Deposting is not required but it is preferred since it makes the game a bit easier form the start.

To follow on from Robs awesome initial post I would like to follow suit.

My ingame name is Jack The Ripper Russel. I started out in this world in October 2005. I have learnt a lot here both from my initial Mentor and from my Soc the Gaming University of Calypso. I run some services with my bro under the RipTure banner and have recently acquired a shop with for us with Tangine Garb Garbender, to add to the Hanger we had bought at Treasure Island North.

Im in the UK and work during the day so my normal playing hours are about 21:00 - 00:30. maybe more but thats a start :P

Again copying Robs post a little here as the set out is gr8 and easy to read so here goes.

I to offer the following to disciples.

1 - I can give advice whether it be in game or email etc to help out any queries or aid questions needed.

2 - I have acquired all of the TPs on both continents and will assist in obtainining them for my disciples

3 - I will start regular (or when required) hunts events run by our SOC etc

4 - Mainly on CND but i will aid in hunting and sweating spots, im not much of a miner unfortunately (ATM :P)

5 - As our SOC has a sister soc GSoC i will recommend my disciples join this SOC as it is especially for helping newbs out and giving them a good start.

6 - If needed i will try and aid in obtaining ANY items that my disciples may look for

In return i would hope that my disciples are mature ppl (not necessarily old) but can respect some basic principles of maturity and do NOT beg.

As I hunt quite a lot i can help mainly in this (to a certain extent) but will try and help out in anything out as required

Disciples should know that PE is free to play to a certain extent but if you would like to actively play more and reach some of the higher levels then depositing is definately the way forward. My advice would be to test it out for a while and see how you feel about depositing. by no means feel obliged to deposit but it certainly helps :P

Before i get into my introduction,i would like to advise that starting from April 20 i will be away from PE and these forums for approx 3-4 weeks due my marrage .So I would suggest that u consider the other mentors b4 contacting me until I'm back on board,I feel the most critical time for a new player is the First month and I would like to be avalible on your request.

I live in Norway, so I will be best suited timewize to work with European people.
I started playing PE in October 2005 (after Neverdie making the headlines with his grand purchase), and I suppose I am a mid-level player.
I can teach hunting and mining, do TP runs, share my knowledge of PE dynamics - or to put it in other words: show you the ropes and get you going. In addition, I have an extensive network, so if there is something I can't do or don't know, I'm certain that someone can help us.

Finally got some time to post my intro!

Interesting that a lot of us started at the same time, I also came into PE in Oct 2005. I am in the US, GMT -6, full ingame name is Night Slick Shadow.

I had a great mentor coming into this game, that gave me nothing except information. I am a depositor, and believe that you can make a go of this game either way (depositing or not, I will respect ya).

I am an advisor in a new society called Seven Lives, and have several of my soc mates that hang out on Calypso most of the time. While I tend to stay at CND 98% of the time, if my deciple makes it to Calypso they will have help from my soc mates for things like TP runs, etc.

I hunt, craft and mine...I have dabbled in everything that PE has to offer except tailoring.

What I can offer my deciples:

-Friendship and Fun above all
-Answer any and all questions about PE
-Rewards for skill gains very similar to what others have posted above

What I would expect of you:

- Have fun! Don't get easily discouraged, this game is hard at first!

- Atleast 18 years old

- Able to play at times I am online (that doesn't mean you have to be in the US!)

- Be mature, no whining, begging or other anti-social behavior. Friendship is built on mutual respect.

- Being able to deposit a little ($10-20 USD) at first isn't a bad thing. Remember, most games cost $50 to buy at a store! This is not a requirement, and I fully respect those that make it in this game without depositing.
