Hello. I am a 36 year old woman. I'm in a relationship; my common-law husband and I have been living together for quite a few years now. I am also a jazz singer.We have one pet - a Himalayan cat named Choochie.We do not have any children, nor do we intend on having any at this time. I love kids and I hope to record a jazz inspired lullaby CD in the near future - for all ages to enjoy! I have not been singing much at all for the past decade. If you read the rest of my profile, you’ll understand. I did a demo with a piano player friend of mine. I am currently seeking musicians who are interested in collaborating with me on future projects. Please feel free to message me if you are a musician in the Montreal – Ottawa area and are interested.I would also like to record a CD to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis and CCSVI Research. I have several contacts interested in recording this album.If you are interested, or know someone - please send me a message!I was diagnosed with MS the year before I made my demo CD. I believe I have always had this horrible disease. I think it caused the depression I have had to deal with most of my life - I gained so much weight during the 90s because of it too!My loving husband helped me find the strength and courage to lose most of my excess weight, starting in 2000. Since then, I have lost 145 pounds. My man is the love of my life!Over the past couple of years, I have had to deal with a lot of pain - which MS can cause a lot of, but so can a herniated disk! I had to have back surgery in 2008 – ouch!I am currently in the process of trying to go for a 'liberation treatment' to treat MS. It involves a simple balloon angioplasty, but is not available to Canadians who have MS - only to anyone who does NOT have the disease. This treatment was recently discovered by the Italian doctor, Dr. Zamboni.And then my beloved mother-in-law, the late great Jeanne - of Café Chez Jeanne - passed away… Jeanne - my second mother!She had been living with us at the beginning of 2007 after undergoing emergency heart surgery. She died quite suddenly almost two years later in November 2008 from a brain hemorrhage. We think of her each day, and miss her dearly. R.I.P. Jeanne.I am really having fun getting in touch with old friends and classmates, and making lots of new ones!Cheers! ( -:
