    There is an Arkadian Pulsar Armor Plate 8 (L) Blueprint (unlimited version) on auction right now that kind of illustrates what we need in BPs. The plate it makes is superior to the 8a on the new planets, imo, it protects vs. Impact 11, Cut 19, Stab 6. The ingredients are 1 ignesium, 1 kidney oil, 2 standard magnets, 4 iolite, 4 energized crystal cells.....that's it, essentially the dust in the bottom of my storage locker! This kind of thing is also driving the MU down on many old standbys. This plate only sells around 115% and even the Apis is now selling under 120% because of the Hermans, all of which are also relatively easy to make, especially if you craft them on Arkadia. We cannot compete with that kind of mark-up if the RT BPs continue to require 14 Holy Grails per click. The rarity of the ingredients prevents us from being able to sell at that MU and RT items are then made undesirable because there are much cheaper useful items available. Crafters will also craft the simplest things they will be able to sell at MU which moves them to Arkadia instead of RT or even Calypso. This kind of economy is a good model, too, in that it puts the gear in peoples hands so they may go out and happily spend their ped pursuing their professions, instead of attempting to conserve it for as long as possible in their search the Snuffleupagus, to merely suit up.

    Ok not really what BPs we need but points I think need to be taken into consideration regarding BPs.

    Intresting Mr Bond. I also belive it will be a Component for something, but i guess we have to wait to see. As far as the land deeds go, its always been my dream to own camp crunk (digital abduction outpost), turn the shack into a shop and run events for all players there. We can all dream hay.

    I agree Ketch, I am really dissapointed with the abundance and cost of arkadia Plates vs our our dragon plates.

    I am playing on Rocktropia almost exclusively for over 1.5 years now and with my playstyle always try and be as economical as possible.
    Unfortunately this means it is better for me to import armor and plates and guns and mining amps from other planets instead of buying or crafting locally even though I have the local prints.

    The armor situation is getting better with looted holy/stealth/special ops/jarhead and I think they are great and will likely be better once there are enough hunters here to provide for the economy.
    The Firewall mk1 armor I think was done fairly well, rarety of both blues and open source codes make it a lower production, but I have been able to craft my own as well as sell quite a few sets. I have really enjoyed this set for grinding in hell.
    The weapons situation is terrible except for the newer players. ZKs are not economical for me to use and break too fast. I have ended up buying batches of guns from Arkadia for my local grinding, and Apis from socmates (sometimes crafted locally)
    The armor Plates situation is terrible. The rarely of parts or ores make them impractical to make at a cost effective price. I have made sets of the different dragon plates, but they dont sell very often beacause of the MU I would have to sell them for to break even. Pop Dragon plates and neverdie plates are actually good, but the dragon parts dont drop fast enough to use. (for example, I think if your camping pop dragons, you should be able to loot claws atleast fast enough to keep up with the plates you are consuming by hunting them + enough to sell some on the side since they will be used by players on other mobs as well)
    Lemmy Plates are good plates for dragons and hell mobs street kings, etc..., and would be the ideal higher end all around plate for Rocktropia grinders. BUT... they require hard ingot which is stupid rare and expensive. So again not practical for anyone to use. Ketsh's example of the pulsar 8s would be better and cheaper :/
    For hell specificly Arkadia has the Pulsar Plate 2(L) which if you didnt know better would say was designed specifically for Hell, high electric/stb protection. Rocktropia should have had a plate with these stats long before Arkadia and with ingredients able to craft them for 110-120% just like they do.

    I have hunted harder than ever in my gaming 'carier' this month, and the only Rocktropia gear I have been able to use was a couple of holy parts when my main armor broke, jarhead/pixie when hunting smaller mobs, and 1 zk9 that i use as a finisher when my main guns (bought from Arkadia) break.

    This really demonstrates the gaps in what we need for someone hunting mid level.
    (considering that armor drops are good and will be better when we have more people)
    1. Guns need to be produced through crafting or hunting in quantity and cost appropriate to make them eco at the markup their supply would demand. (example zks at 115% are not eco enough for me to consider grinding with, I only buy guns with 2.85+ adjusted dmg/pec for grinding)
    2. Armor plates need to be down to 120% or less markup to be practical for grinding. This means that the ingredients lists need to change, or drop rate for those ingredients need to change.
    3. The Mining amp D-Class(cant remember the name) is a great print alternative for miners here, BUT android gears are hard to come by because 1. the drop rate is low, and 2. the vixen spawns were removed from the game instead of just being moved to a better area.
    4. The most common faps that drop are the same bad eco as the old ul ones, so they cant be sold for markup. Every fap i get hunting hell and other places just goes into the TT because if its not eco for me to use for TT value, its not eco for someone else to use paying me any markup. The local (L) faps need to be the same eco as the (L) ball faps from calypso. (crafted or looted doesnt matter)

    We need miners and hunters selling to crafters who are selling goods back to the crafters and miners. Right now it is stagnent because the resources that the miners and hunters get arent worth the crafters paying markup for beause the items produced arent worth selling back for markup either.

    It is better to have ALOT of ped flowing back and forth at 105-120% than almost no movement at 150%

    Alternative is a great ore for miners, because it is used for welding wire, and for skilling roadie amps trying to loot high mu (L) prints. 1/2 credit to ma for the wire, and 1/2 credit to NDS for the attachment skilling print)
    The problem though is that Alternative is now dominating the market, so miners are only interested in mining Alternative and dont care about any other ore or enmatter.
    Its a good/bad situation, and im not sure how to fix it without a lot of new bps.

    Sorry for rambling so much, i typed this in 3 sittings between other projects.

    summery: We need a majority of ALL resources, Armors, Weapons, Plates, Amps, etc... selling for 105-120% to encourage more movement in the economy. The way to do this is by allowing the economical production of these items by crafters driving the demand for the resources to produce the items for the hunters and miners.

    I am more than happy for others to say what they think we also need to approve the blueprints. Like you and George has already pointed out in this thread its not just new blueprints NDS has to think about, but also the ingreadents is important I am not a crafter yet, but since putting the blueprints Entropedia i am surprised by some of the blueprints like the Entropedia: Blueprint: Proud 2 PK Trucker Cap (C) Blueprint I cant inmagine many making this cap.

    lol, yeah that one is hardcore and yet only 2 ingredients! It is a sweet vanity item though, maybe a little too unreasonable but a nice example of an unlimited item resulting from a difficult BP. In which case the sting is somewhat weakened for someone that really wants this cap. (failing that one you should get a message "you were killed by the nasty Blueprint: Proud to PK Trucker Cap (C) Blueprint" )

    With clothes it's a shame we only have caps and t-shirts. Wouldn't it be better to make available some of the clothes street king type mobs wear, also the nice mission clothes e.g. Company suit. They are not so original but quite good clothing, like some street kings wear headphones (which are kinda amusing).

    The point being we allready have models for these maybe (for mobs) perhaps they can be adapted for players to wear.

    I agree for me it would have to be motorbike jackets from the zombies. These can be made with zombie hide that is dropped from zombies and then maybe they can drob this instead of animal hide or a ratio 50/50 depending on level of zombie. As anilmal hide MU is nearly non exsistent many noobs tt it. So this would help the econamy for more wider range of players. When i was young teenager i was handed down a red leather moterbike jacket. It had the picture of the exploited (scottish pank band of the 80's) sympol on thae back.

    know it been mentioned before, but we need motorbikes on this planet.

    A nice trike like they have in game warhammer where you can have a passanger and attach a gun.

    Another thing i would love to see on this planet is gang/soc colours. This is what gangs have like on backs like my leather jacket but for exsample

    We could have these on zombies jackets, denim cut off jackets. It would work simeler to make up players do masks, but they can only do it on our Jackets. Maybe somehting we could do in the future.

    Just inmagine going to beer garden and seeing rockstars circleing the beer with colours on trikes or when you at a land grab and 10 BA on trkes in a line with their symbol on their backs. Just something to think about.

    Along this line, another thing we don't have at all are RT textures but we do have sources for them. Besides RT specific mined resources there are cheetahs, leopards, tigers, and deer. Get 'em while you can, Zebra has already been taken! New colors are being owned, too, maybe the RT enmatters could make their neons.

    That is great news. Maybe further down on my list of blueprints, but still good that we will have some new blueprints int next V.U. Also good for noob crafters.
