could someone please give me a rough estimate of the average MU that a beginning hunter would make on RT? (from hunting low level mobs)
(I've done some mining but I'm considering changing professions)

Low lvl you should target Silver Shakers, Silver flasks, the colored cassets and cds, and hard rock.

All but the hard rock can be looted from the troll/gangster types along the roads south of the City of Dreams.
Hard rock can be looted form the ww2 soldier looking zombies at nuclear blast bomb shelter.

Consistent markup from hunting is a lot harder than mining, but its also alot more fun.

I suggest trying it for a week or so (atleast long enough to get an idea of averages) and then figure out a good balance between the two to fit your personality and tastes.

They don't drop enough hard rock for it to be worthwhile, those mobs are a pure money pit.
