It is a page made by "The Electric Sheep Co." which creates content for the MMO called "Second Life."

This event combines a RL art show in Washington, D.C. with a virtual party in Second Life. The site of the virtual party will be designed to look just like the real life coffee house where the art show is taking place! From the article:

"Meanwhile, on Sheep Island in Second Life, Second Life Residents from around the world are invited to congregate in our virtual recreation of R & B Coffee, and watch and participate in the real world event. Large-screen video of the Second Life Happening will be viewable to participants in the real life event in DC, and Second Life residents will be invited to participate in aspects of the real life performances. There will be terminals running Second Life present at R & B, as well, so real-life Happening attendees will be able to sample the virtual event as well."

A CND gathering in Miami Beach next xmas, I have been offered a Space in a hostel, right on South Beach to open Cafe NEVERDIE, a cyber Cafe Neverdie. I could probably work out some great rates on the rooms..... I figure if its in the winter there will be lots of freezing Europeans glad to have an excuse to come visit...


Other more obvious things include Spinning live from RL nightclubs into CND Nightclub for Live/Virtual events

Well that's just a little over a hop, skip, and a jump for ME ... so count ME in.

Wow. Count me in Too. I don't have to fly to Miami Beach, Florida. I just grab my scooter and hit the gas. hehe. Looking foward to this. If this ever happen this will be the first Club I go to.

Sounds way cool - maybe a bit too far for me but hey we'll see what happens down the line.

Excellent, loads of clubs in the uk have huge screens too so an excellent way to broadcast whats happening in the resort
