Ahh yeah. I'll see if i can bring along one o those portable fans (for propulsion) may get there a day or two faster lol. ND can you wait till were there pls before party starts :P Maybe about 2008 lol

Cool idea! (as long as it wasn't on Christmas day because people like to be with family).

We have seen that gaming, for example Halo 2 and Unreal Tournament, has achieved a level to where there are celebrities (Fatality being one example) and events (world championships) which are starting to equal organized sporting events in attention and dollars spent.

I can imagine people who have avatars in Club NEVERDIE gathering at a conference room to hook up their computers in a LAN, and then participate in fighting tournaments, or loot races (who can global first) or Dance Events in the club....all of this being projected on a large screen from inside PE.

The spectators then can stroll among the LAN users while they watch the game footage. They are able to see the person behind the avatar and watch the avatar do things on the screen. Meanwhile, a video feed of this event gets sent into PE so people who aren't there can watch what's going on across the world.

Fast forward a few years and people don't have to gather at a location any more. They can meet up in a meeting room in PE with video chat and play and talk to other people while looking at their avatar on screen and looking at the video monitor of the real life person.

Pretty crazy to think about but this stuff will be common years from now. Someday I suspect there will be massive virtual parties where everyone can see a hologram of each other and interact with each other across the world. Maybe like a worldwide New Year's Eve party.

Now. It would be absolutely awesome if there were say.. playbacks of sproting events irl? catch up on that missed footy match or something lol.
