Encicra: One man's quest to the end of an astroid.
It was earlier today and I had left my account logged in and just as I returned to the room I watched as my avatar fell through the floor of the control room, without me doing anything, even though it had been standing there for about 4 mins or so.
To my amazement he didn't die. My avatar stayed alive on the astroids surface. So, with opprotunity at my door step I took it and ran.

I decided to run west because it was the closest to the edge of the map, after initially running south from the control room. and when I opend my map I saw this, while also checking my position is says 0,0,0 Eudoria.

I continued to run west until I came to an ocean. What an ocean on cnd, I though to myself, turns out the blurry part of the map west of Ameritha is actually where the astroid is on the game servers.

I followed the ridge north for a long distance and then head back westward where I found what appeared to be the grounds of the domes.
There was alot of vegitation on the astroid out around where the domes are located. Its a mix of plants that you don't normally see together in the domes or on planet.

This here is the northwest corner of Dome one from outside the dome. The walls don't appear so they must load from the inside out. I could see a teleporter dot on the map but didnt want to run to far in, just incase I lost my free range abilities.

Now, I wanted to see the northern end of the astorid, which was only a short run away. When I got there the terrain under my feet turned solid black and I could see the bottom of the background image used. Once I ran to the lighter area of on the bottom of the pic I found myself under water.

After that I have no clue what was to be found, I decided it was probably best to log out. Luckily I spawnd back the control room upon login.
And that was my adventure. Today I saw things, to my knowledge that no player has ever seen before in the history of EU/PE and was lucky enought to snap a bunch of pics without getting logged out.
All I can say is what a time to be fresh out of bombs.
Don't worry MA I kept your secret play area a secret. Didnt snap any of those dune buggies lol.
(lol, talk about rushed typeing. Typo's and grammer mistakes ahoy!)

Wow ;
that looks quite cool. I have to agree with rip that the Ocean part looked quite good , kind of ruings the illusion of an asteroid for me though and does it kind of show how far from universe ready MA are>?
Cool anyway lol

Very cool thread, thanks for sharing. I guess it would be pretty hard to code an asteroid completely separate from the rest of the land.
And I'll add, I have been bugged at Crystal Palace and there's a huge gorge and land under the domes there.

Lol the entire run of the astroid i went on was around 1.5 hours. and I only saw the north and west sides. To go to the others would have been most likely a 3-4 hour run.

Very interesting indeed...
Same thing happened to me this morning, radar indicated TPs but none to be found...ended up in dome 19 S.
I went far west then swam for a bit, doesnt let you get far but everything gets set back to normal after relog (pushing t doesnt work).
