Ok, I was there thinking to myself how can I go about looting a full shadow set as I would never be able to buy one with its current value and so I have the following questions that I hope people will be able to anwser

1) Would it be possible to loot this as an Individual / what weapons / armour + plate combination do you think would be suatable.

2) I know that some people may have already done this - how long did it take you approximate hours as i feal ready for a long challenge

3) Hyperthetically If I was to loot M parts and needed F would some one swap like for like or am i gonna if i get M part have to wait till i loot an F part or would you throw them in to auction

4) Is there anybody else that would like to take up this challenge

I think I may have gone a bit insane but this could be a lot of fun in hunting new mobs

The best place to loot it is the auction
anyway a challenge is a challenge! Here's the shadow dropping list, don't know if complete, but these mobs dropped shadow for sure:

arms: Aurly
gloves: Argonaut
harness: Aurly, Hogglo
helmet: Atrox, Big Bulk, Cernusom
shins: Ambulimax
thigh: Ambulimax

so hunt all the A-mob and the chances go up the A-mob drop a lot of other fun stuff that allow you to buy a piece of shadow in case

You'll likely have to hunt much higher maturities than that though.

He said argo's drop gloves, but I'm fairly certain you wouldn't find them on an argo young unless there was some sort of huge miracle. :P

You'll most likely want to be hunting the harder/hardest maturities.

You will probably pay that same price if not more trying to loot it actually. At least the full set. Try to loot a couple pieces mabey and then buy what you need left would be more practical. I know some have been spending thier whole Entropia Life trying to get a full shadow set to drop for them.

It used to be a lot easyer in the old beta days but not now.

Think you will be quite surprised by the maturity that drop them.

ive killed thousands of these and havent looted an ESI much less shadow parts...you are in for a long journey if your luck is anything like mine

I agree with both of them.
Save your pecs.
Rather than deposit the same amount you would every month, put 50% aside.
Eventually you can buy.

You can always sell again, so you won't lose the money once you bought it.

thats why they say : extremely rare

Ill never forget the night when we had shadow shins / thights spree... Loads of us looted both shins and thights same night . Ambus young dropped both for me. Unfortently sold way too cheap loooong time ago :-( .


Just logged back into eu now ( ofc been one of those wow addicts for awhile..) .
