Video game celebrities on CBS "60 Minutes" last night
Did anyone else see this last night? The story on "60 Minutes" about video gaming celebrities:
Cyber Athlete 'Fatal1ty', Steve Kroft On The Rise Of Professional Video Game Players - CBS News
A lot of it was about that guy "Fatal1ty" who is the first person shooter star and celebrity. For those who don't live in the U.S., when 60 Minutes talks about making a living playing video games, it's a big deal because the people who watch that show are very mainstream and tend to be older and NOT gamers.
Just more evidence that this is the decade of the gamer I guess.

Yes, I DID see that Epic ... a very interesting story about this young man and how he got his Dad to support what he was doing when his Mother wouldn't, then came back and plopped down his first win of $4,000. I think his Dad was really onboard THEN, and the rest is ... as they say ... history!
