A Wedding Reception through Asti's Eyes
The prevailing feeling running through me, was respect. As I stood motionless and silent, during the ceremony, I dared not even snap a single picture. That would be for others, not I. Emotions filled me, as they do at weddings, making me see the richness in life. Honoring the moment with my complete attention, was my gift to Jon, Cheri, and young Taleisen.
My story begins after the hoots and hollers of the ceremony's end, and as the party starts. My friend scuba stood with me during the ceremony. More than once, we glanced at each other, feeling the same respect for why we were there. Once the party got going, naturally scuba and I danced. He is such a great dancer. I excede my talents while moving with him.
It wasn't long before cat came by, and I grabbed him. What a fun guy! He never says no.
It started getting too hot for my sivler fur jacket, so off it went. By now, men started to gather around, literally all around! There was still Fliss and Twister to take some of the heat, so I wasn't worried. Slick just had to see if my super extra hold mega spray would hold up. It had better, or two hours work on my hair, would be ruined!
Wtih all these gathering bodies, there was no choice, but to lose even more clothes, revealing my brand new turquoise bikini. I knew it was a hot suit, but I wasn't prepared for what was to come. One of the Ripture twins, (sorry boys, but I can't tell you apart), decided on some close inspection. I still had Fliss and Twister flanking me, so I felt safe.
At some point, there has to be a limit to what a girl can endure. My hair was put to the ultimate test, with layers, now, of standees. The gathering of men didn't stop, until there were no less than 9 hottie hunks caging me in. I looked around, and my female support had vanished! As I was pinned beneath this Pyramid of Manliness, water waved his sword menacingly at my bikini top, nearly flicking it away in true Zorro style.
After Dannei had all the blood leave his brain for other apendages, he could no longer stand. MS9 and Fade seized the moment, to mete out some punishment.
Without the three legged Dannei at the very top of the pyramid, it colapsed into a more normal, single layer of partiers. It was then that the crowd began to thin, as it had gotten late. I was dancing and conversing with a first timer on CND, and we were invited to an intimate after party by urso. Darth had only been at CND a short time, when he felt the CND sparklies of a global loot. Within his share of the team's booty, was a vigi helmet. He proudly wore it as a badge. Welcome to CND, Darth.
After a time, some of those at this little gathering wanted to see the floor in my apartment. It seems that they heard about it, but would not go without my permission. I said no problem, and the show went on the road. I was surprised when tedt walked in, and cut a few moves.
It wasn't a big group, but numbers don't always mean much. urso and I matched in black, and Cat was warming up to groove.
We had a good time until I got the call that my flight was ready to board. I left the remaining dancers to continue until whenever. Yes, I landed 30 minutes before the ceremony, and was back on Calypso aproximately 8 hours later, but it isn't the amount of time that I consider. It is how much fun is packed into that time. The CND crowd is very well equipped with many personalities and characters, to ensure a good time is had by all.
To Jon and Cheri, again I say Congratulations, and all my best goes with you!
