I moved this thread into the "General Discussion" area bcuz this isn't a CND Event, but rather something you might be doing for a CND event. However, I'm not sure what this is all about, so would you be kind enough to give us more specifics as to what you are referring to with regard to 21:00 on Saturdays.

Due to the terribly poor showing in some of the weekend events, i wanted to try just holding 1 this weekend. Saturday at 21:00.

There is a nice little mining package on offer as a prize.. its a melee looting event, which i find gives everyone the most chance.

Tickets are available in the claim terminal, But also I have given some to Deadulus and Cat to Sell as Agents. Cat will be including hers in her tour packages, which she is offering only planetside

These Events need to be promoted in order to make them more fun and its also a great way to give people a chance to make a little cash as ticket agents..

As you all know im very keen to see alternative professions develop.
That is one of the keys to the future success of Virtual Reality.

I think Ticket agenting is a key entry level position at CND, that can genuinely contribute to the community. (so long as there is no spamming involved)

Oh , I apologise about not putting it in the General Discussion section.... All the facts about the event are on Neverdie's post .

It might be helpful if something about this event was posted in the "Event section" and listed on the Home page under "Events".

Other than the big events I do not hear much regarding the weekly contests and events being held at CND unless I am there. Until my last visit there, I had not heard anything regarding the weekly events on Saturday and Sundays.

Also many people need advance notice to plan a trip up especially if they want to go as a group.

I think what he's talking about is more advertising regarding the weekly Friday, Saturday, and Sunday dome events that were advertised a while back during all of the big media events.

Since ND posted in this thread and explained what his intention is with regard to the "Saturday Only" dome event, I can do another thread that announces it in the "CND Event" subforum, as well as put a link at the EF and EP forums to the one at Reality Port so that everyone has an opportunity to know what it's about.

We advertised that the Friday, Saturday and Sunday dome events would be every weekend, but I guess everyone needs to be reminded of that ... however, I think JD has these listed at his website in the directory under events, and I think that ppl are now becoming accustomed to checking his site for the latest events.

We'll have to work on getting the word out weekly then I guess. Also, since I had no idea what this thread was all about until ND did his post, I moved it to the General Discussion area. I can now move it back to the CND events subforum since there's more understanding with regard to what's happening here.

No offense, but there is still nothing in this thread that would make me want to spend the 40 peds round trip and and several hours of time trying to get a flight to travel to CND and then back. (and I have an apt. there)

The prize is a nice mining package, that includes a 103 Energy and a 103 ore amp, and bombs and probes,

Its a melee event where you loot mobs and highest amount of loot wins... Dome 6-10... a great variety of mob's, Sabakuma, exarosaur, prancer, atrax, tripudion and large daikiba.
