Presenting a "Window into the world of Club NEVERDIE" is fast becoming the norm now, as is being ready to party at a moment's notice. The media has shown major interest in ND's virtual investment and we're just getting started.

Talk about extreme exposure, these media events give the community an opportunity to partake in something that has the momentum to deliver a clear message to those who still inhabit the "real world" ... get your boogie butts in high gear and come experience a one-of-a-kind virtual environment that not only rocks an asteroid but provides resort living at its best with 'virtually' everything you need for your entertainment pleasure.

Now, onto the good stuff ... as I mentioned, these things happen at a moment's notice, and my "moment's notice" happened when I signed ingame late last night. First PM was the Boss, and those PMs take priority of course. It made me laugh bcuz the customary "hi, how are you" wasn't the first thing he wrote, but rather ... "another party" ... LOL ... I knew instantly it was time to go to work again.

After discussing all of the details, I quickly wanted to do an FYI post to put everyone on alert since it was such short notice, however, in my haste, I got the time wrong for the Wednesday event ... my bad (hey, it was 5:25am my time and I was on fumes) ... so pay close attention to the following details please, as we don't have much control over these media events and press availability.

Here are the details for the events on Sunday (May 14th) and Wednesday (May 17th) ...

POST E-3 CELEBRATION AND PRE-FILMING FOR MEDIA EVENT
SUNDAY, MAY 14TH ... BEGINNING AT 22:00 MA TIME
AT "CLUB NEVERDIE ... VIP AREA ONLY"

1 - This will be a pre-filming event for Wednesday's big media affair
2 - Dress is casual but feel free to show off your personal style
3 - There's no contest involved with this one, but there is for Wednesday
4 - ND has always been generous, so let's rally round the Boss and show support
5 - It's also an opportunity to vogue for the cameras again
6 - And SPEAKING of cameras ... guess who'll be watching ... CBS/USA

While there's no contest involved with Sunday's party, this is an opportunity to come out and show your support for all that we have accomplished thus far in putting Club NEVERDIE on the media map and getting the message out that we indeed have something unique.

This is a post E-3 celebration, and from my perspective, also an opportunity to say thx to ND not only for his immense generosity, but also for providing us with an incredible playground that has the potential for all of us to experience an even greater virtual environment. As the Boss continues to say ... "we're just getting started" ... so let's make our best effort to get to this party and not only celebrate how far we've come, but get into that "CND Hot Tub" and show 'em once again how we do it.

2 - This will be a big story ... ND will update us on how and when it will air
3 - Let's once again rally and show the world how we do it
4 - It's time to boogie and booty-bump in a very unique way

DANCE CONTEST ... SILLY COSTUME & SILLY DANCING

1 - It's time to truly get creative and bring out your silly side
2 - This contest has a 500 PED prize to one winner
3 - Design your silliest costume and then show us your silliest dancing
4 - Winner will be announced at the end of the 2 hr event
5 - Music venue will be announced prior to Wednesday's event
6 - Let's get out there once again and show CBS and the world how we do it

I will MOST DEFINITELY be at Sunday .. and I'm gonna have to pull some major strings and reschedule some meetings to get there on Wednesday at 10am my time.

I know exactly what you mean my dear ... and if I wasn't working part-time as a psych prof it would be challenging for me as well. But that said ... as much as we have all grown to love our virtual environment and perhaps have become more attached than anticipated, it does have it's redeeming qualities that provide unique and endearing experiences from a global perspective. It gives us an opportunity to work on virtual social skills and gain a vast wealth of knowledge in ways that we might not otherwise be exposed to.

We're growing at a steady pace, and eventually I'm going to take on an asstistant or two (besides my Moonie) to help in small ways to begin with that will have its rewards. It will be a little while yet depending on how fast this "CND media mapping" happens, but I already have a couple of ppl in mind.

Here's to RL not getting in the way of our virtual love fest!

Like Felicity, I am a 9-5'er during the week but I think I can swing Wednesday's event.

Unfortunately, tomorrow (Sunday) I have plans with mom for Mother's Day so that's not looking too possible but perhaps I can catch the tail end of it.

Hmm, Rip, sweetie .. I think I must have caught that same sick bug you're getting on Wednesday .. must have been that hot and heavy dancing on the beach.

It's actually not looking too promising right now for me for Wednesday, but I'm not giving up hope yet. Or, I may be on a conference call while I dance. lol

I really *was* being sarcastic about the job thing. There is a balance here between virtual, real, party, and work ... someplace .. I know it's there. We have ore finders and matter finders .. we need a balance finder. lol

We are in a very exciting time, and I see this skyrocketing, as it already has .. the events and opportunities will continue to increase in both frequency and importance/excitement .. so even if I do have to miss Wednesday, I know y'all will keep the party going fabulously and that there *will* be more of these types of opportunities in the near future.
