A REMINDER ABOUT THE BIG CBS MEDIA EVENT
WEDNESDAY ... MAY 17TH ... 17:00 to 19:00 MA TIME

REMEMBER ... there's a "Silliest Costume/Dance" contest, so start digging in your closets and create something out of the ordinary. The costume can include armor and/or equipment of sorts, so go for something unique and wild and all out silly.

VIP IN THE MIDST ... Moonie and I went planetside last night to pick up a very important person who will be joining us on Wednesday for the event. It's none other than the person who was to be my mystery guest at the TV fashion show event back in March but couldn't make it bcuz of IRL commitments.

SO WHO IS IT?? ... why, it's "MindBuster" of course, and he made his virgin voyage to CND last night with Moonie and I and Steele at the helm of the space craft ... so thank you Steele for being so accommodating!

After I go teach my class this morning I'm coming back and posting a separate thread (with pics) about MB's first experience after landing on the rock. I gave him the quick version of the "MS9 VIP Tour of CND" as he was anxious to get started with some mining, but as you will see in the final pic I post, it looked as though he was also loaded for just about anything else other than mining.

AND BTW ... I'm going to be adding a "mini-event" to the after party for all the die-hards who hang in there to help celebrate MB's first visit to our unique club ... AND ... he will not only become a member of our awesome "CND Dance Club Playmates" group, BUT ... will be indoctrinated (initiated) into the "CND Rocks the Asteroid" club with the help of everyone else during the mini-event.

So bring your booty-bumpin' selves to the party, and not only celebrate yet another cool event that is putting CND on the media map, but also celebrate MB's first visit to CND.

Now that's a DIE-HARD attitude if I ever saw one ... JD, it's always a pleasure having you in the mix for sure. You ARE one of the die-hard/VIP "CND Dance Club Playmates" who help to heat things up on a massive scale, but then that list is ever-growing and we LUV it.

If your booty's not big enough, then surely bring all the booty you can get your hands on ... wait ... or was that lay your eyes on!

At any rate ... hope to see not only all the regulars at "Party Central" but a lot of new faces as well, and we will surely be giving Mr. MindBuster our most heartiest of welcomes in the process ... not to mention a major escort into Dome 17 for his initiation into the "CND Rocks the Asteroid" club.

Oh, Oh, Oh ... forgot to mention that "Deathifier" says that he TOO will be coming to the party if he can find himself conscious at 4am his time to get there, so WhooHoo ... another celebrity to initiate ... now if Marco RSVP's with a yes to my invite, then perhaps we'll get to add yet another celebrity to our growing list of hotties that grace party central. Here's hoping he does!

Hmmmm ...... MindBuster ......... Deathifier .......... Marco ........... would be great if all those big names could come to our turf. We could show them CND at its partiest! (is that even a word?)

I have not had the pleasure of meeting MindBuster, and I have seen Marco once or twice. Deathifier, on the other hand, has been kind enough to let his mansion be the scene of several parties. All of the ones I attended, evolved (or devolved) into all out funfests of half naked avatars in the pool. My dancing and partying seeds were sown there. I would like to show him the fruits of his generosity.

Let me just say that if you have not fully experienced a Virtual Party yet.....

- Maybe you think standing around playing with emotes is a bit lame!

- Or that the place will be choked up with Lag.

- Or you have better things to do.

You are not alone!!!!!

but with the right preparation You most certainly have one of the best times you will have ever had in EU.
So here are of Few Tips that will make your party rock!

#1 - Be There.......Just do it!!!! Say what the heck, i'll take a look.

#2 - Drag some friends together, travel together.

#3 - Take some time before hand to Pack, Unload, Dress & Re-set your QuickBar.

#4 - Sparkles!!!! (aka Mindforce Special Effects)
> PINK | Heal Chip
> BLUE | Teleport Chip
> RED | Firestorm

#5 - STREAM IN THE LIVE MUSIC - THIS IS ESSENTIAL.
> Something universally bonding about a crowd all listening to the exact same music!
> Until the next VU. You will have to go outside of the game to get the Live Stream.

#6 - Don't be silent
> All Chat can get Hilarious and one more funny comment can make all the difference!
> Avoid Spamming, Shouting (Caps), and Selling.

#7 - Dancing.
> This is actually more complicated than you think and using the Quickbar is essential!
> Its all about the combination of dances, emotes & action that you choose for your quickbars.
> Switching very fast between 2 QuickBars buttons will cause your avatar to freeze into a certain position, which can be carefully timed for the best effect. everyone has there own secrets and tricks. always very entertaining to watch!

#8 - Getting Air (aka Fliss Bliss)
> There are a number of ways to elevate your Avatar off the ground! but you will generally require the assistance of another Avatar to jump onto the shoulders of. Or get them to sit down first!
> Once your up! Dont jump, Walk, Run or have another Avatar selected. All other Dances & emotes are fine!

#9 - Be Social
> Private chat is a great way to get to know your Dance partner and to hook up Solo Dances with different partners throughout the night!

#10 - Win Prizes
> There is always a chance you can win a Prize! Party's are full of Giveaways & Competions but I garauntee the best Prize you will receive will be an awesome new friend or six!


NB. Dancers often mark the ground around them few pecs worth of Shiney things. Dont be lame, leave it be! Its part of there Act!!!!
