CND - WEEKEND EVENTS - w/Great Prizes

Club NEVERDIE is sponsoring weekend events that will take place every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening MA time utilizing the new event system. These weekend events will begin on Friday,
March 31, 2006.

Each evening will have its own theme and offer the opportunity to win great prizes. The prizes may include . . . Apartments, CND Mall Gift Certificates, Cash (PED), Mining Amps, and more.

We would like to host these events at the most convenient time for the community, and therefore, please take the poll to let us know your preferences.

HERE IS WHAT WE ARE PROPOSING:

Fridays
• Melee Event
• 1 hr in length
• No fapping
• Most loot wins
• 1st place wins prize
• Potential for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place to receive add'l event rep points

Saturdays
• PvP Event
• 1 hr in length
• No fapping
• Any and all weapons allowed
• Most points wins
• Ammo added to prize
• 1st place wins prize
• Potential for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place to receive add'l event rep points

Sundays
• Hunting Event
• 1 hr in length
• Fapping allowed
• Any and all weapons allowed
• Most loot wins
• 1st Place wins prize
• All loot goes to winner
• Potential for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place to receive add'l event rep points

The above criteria for each event is already built into, and monitored by the event system.

Each 1-hour event will take place during the time slot that the majority of the community votes on, so make sure you get your vote in as to what time works best for you.

Each event will take place within a series of 5 domes, and you must register for the event of your choice (or all 3 if you like) prior to the start of the event. To do this, go to the fertilizer room at CND off the Control Room and click on the blue wall panel associated with the 5 domes designated for each of the events. The designated 5 domes for each event will be posted in this thread prior to each Friday.

Even though we have designed 3 specific weekend events, we would like to solicit your thoughts with regard to the type of themed events that would suit your fancy other than what we have listed here. These events are driven and controlled by the event system, so keep that in mind. If you are not familiar with what the event system offers in the way of designing an event, please check it out.

For this first round of events this weekend, the events will be as stated above, but please do give us your input for future weekend events.

And remember … it’s all about having fun and winning some great prizes.

How do you controle that no one are using a fap or other weapons than a melee.

When making an event, the event controls it if you know what I mean. For instance, I participated in one of ND's events last weekend and if you tried to FAP or MF Heal, it wouldn't let you. Also, if you tried to use something other than a melee weapon, it wouldn't let you. So basically the event settings that ND makes regulates what you can or cannot do.

ohhh - nice. Is it possible to make an event that are with skill control?

I don't wanna battle with a melee master with evade 10k

Lol....I don't think so mate but according to ND, the only thing you can do in order to regulate entry is by repuatation points. Some events may not let you enter if you do not have enough event points. And if I were you I wouldn't enter into any melee pk tournaments either. Personally I am not uber enough in that area to do any good. But maybe someday

Also, I don't believe you can vote until you are a silver member which I believe is established once you get 10 posts or something like that

Thx 4 answer - then i think that the event system sucks - it's only for uber then - if i'm going into an event then it should be with ppl on the same level as me.

I'll hurry up posting some more then....

It's not only for ubers. The friday event is most loot wins, so the only chance an uber has is that he can kill faster than you. I entered this even this weekend, and it was very thrilling. If I recall correctly, the second place winner had only 400 lb, and he was constantly battleing the winner.

this is all built into the system... you will not allowed to fap yourself or use any other weapons. the server simply will not let you.
