yes, but for ND events you just adapt the prices/class. You can keep the same concepts and use the dome events for the finals, or for specific events/class. Think it will add more fun (and raise interest) if you have a (timed) event with same skilled players. Use the event system to charge and put no price ingame so people know they need to register here to win the price (and if they are fit to join, give three bombs when they get scanned etc...).

This way you can maybe use the event system to improve your forum visitors

Keep the 100k mining event, but "put it on hold" until you have a decent number of participants. Split the price for a lower (for the beginners spawning at cND, or are saving to get there), a middle (cND visitors), upper (cND residents) and uberclass (from wherever they may come) to raise a lot more interest =).

I actually though of a way to do a noob only event.
You start have the event planned and you have all the tickets reserved and you sell the tickets to people 20 min before the event starts selling them to people that you scan watching there attributes and making sure they are at low levels. Giving them little time to re-sell the ticket to a "uber"
