Well I have not voted yet but to be honest, I am now intrigued as to why you would assume that because its a public vote that we will cheat .

And to pull out because of this makes no sense what so ever . If I had done the same thing in any of the competions because I thought that people would get there friends to vote for them. I would not have won an apartment.

I am glad that you have provided the video again to be downloaded but, it is now hard to find and anyone only reading the first page would have assumed that you have pulled out, if so say so and I will vote for Led if not then I will view both when they habe downloaded and judge (IMO) what I consider to be the best.

This is not meant to be a flame so apologies if it appears like this but I am slightly annoyed by the fact you have given up before even starting and for no other reason then to accuse us of being cheaters.

You have a put a sour mode on what was otherwise a very good enjoyable event and had I have been able to make it I would have entered all three contests.

I am not concerend about people using friends to bump up there votes, it doesnt mean that they will win.

A panel of Judges can still be (if not more so)biased towards a particular contestant so I consider Public Poll to be a fair way to judge the winners, through quality rather then just because they have more friends

I was told the winner of the contest would be chosen by the team of CND event .
If they chose Led,then it would have been ok.
But they turned it as a poll ,which i am afraid turns every contest as a popularity contest ,thats my opinion.
I havenot submitted this video to let people vote if they prefer me or if they prefer Led to win.

It was clearly stated in the rules that we reserve the right to make any adjustments necessary toward making the contest a success, and that includes the judging process.

As ICE stated in his post, even a panel of judges could have the potential for bias, so no matter how you look at it, voting is not always full-proof. Even IRL contests where judges have to "view" something in order to make a determination as to a winner, you'll always have personal subjectivity ... there's no escaping it.

My question is ... would you have felt the same way if you had been in the lead with the voting? Would you have questioned the integrity of the community in this case as well?

Unless there's proof that someone is "voting for a friend or soc m8" to help them win, as was the case in another contest at EF last year bcuz the person actually wrote that they were doing so in their post, there's no reason to raise suspicions with regard to these contests.

My suggestion is ... make a final determination as to whether you're in or out Francine, and then let's get on with the voting.
