CONTEST RULES

1 - Event begins as of this posting and will end on Tuesday, March 7th at 23:59 MA time.

2 - Anyone interested in entering this contest must register by posting in this thread with full ingame name and CND apt location. You must be the owner of the apt.

3 - If you do not own a CND apt as of this posting but "genuinely" want to enter the contest ... plz contact MindStar9 ASAP to discuss purchasing an apt at a NEVERDIE agreed to price for a small and/or medium-sized apt. Only "serious" individuals who intend to enter this apt decorating contest will be considered.

4 - Once your apt has been decorated, plz post your pics here for viewing. You are allowed no more than 4 pics. Plz place them all in one post, and DO NOT ... I repeat ... DO NOT expand the forum when doing so. Resize your pics to fit into the allowed space, or provide a link to them. Pics posted after 23:59 MA time Tuesday evening the 7th of March will not qualify and will be deleted from this thread.

5 - A panel of judges will evaluate the decorated apts to determine the top 3 winners, provided the contest has enough entrants. If there are a small number of entrants, then there will be one winner and one prize.

6 - The possibility exists that our esteemed event guest Poly "Lady" Lux may join the panel of judges (notification is still pending). Judging will take place on Wednesday at a time convenient for all judges who will tour the qualified apts, and will thereafter render a decision as to the winner(s). All decisions will be final.

7 - The winning prize(s) will be given out at a mini-ceremony in a designated area of the Main Complex on Wednesday, March 8th either before or after the main fashion show event. Further details will be posted in this thread.

DON'T HAVE ENOUGH FURNITURE/ACCESSORIES? ... now would be a good time to make contact with our friendly CND mall shop owners and/or your favorite PE shopkeepers. If your purchases are large enough, perhaps they might entertain a little negotiating for a discounted price. Can't hurt to try. Or cruise the auctioneer to see what inventory is available.

NOT SURE ABOUT YOUR DECORATING ABILITIES? ... perhaps someone with more of a design eye might be willing to give an assist so that you can knock our socks off. Be creative ... we're looking for apts that personify the lifestyle at CND, whatever your flavor, be it homey, hodgepodge, or just plain simple and functional. Show us your personality through unique design, but go for the wow-factor.

TIME IS LIMITED ... we apologize for such short notice, but we just recently learned of the impending visit by our esteemed guest Poly "Lady" Lux and shifted into high gear in order to create a festive environment to indeed showcase a "CND Lifestyle" segment to share with our French/German audience. We may be running at "Mach-2 with our hair on fire" but I have every confidence in our multi-talented community that we will be able to rise to this challenge and deliver a successful event.

bit of a bump and a quick note to say im well underway with my apt design :P

Ive changed the name though so it will now be known as The Blue Room :P

Cant wait to see more entries for this, if your having trouble getting items visit the CND mall to shop 30 (Kays Store) or shop 63 (Buzz's store) or shop 45 (Sonnes Shop) all have gr8 items for decorating so its v easy to enter :P

Just as a sidenote ... this is not an event that I am conducting personally, but rather one of three CND contests that are tied into the main TV event that will take place on Wednesday, March 8th.

Lykke and I are working together as coordinators for all 3 contests (apt decorating, screenies, movie-making), as well as for the main TV event on Wednesday.

The announcements for the Screenies and Movie-Making contests will be posted at all 3 forums soon. These two contests will take place on the day of the event, so don't go running around CND taking a lot of screen shots or making movies, bcuz these activities will only take place during the main event on Wednesay. <--- just gave you a clue there.

So plz stay tuned for the official announcements, which will be posted soon.

Hokay.

Here goes a bit of a sneak preview to show everyone that you dont have to spend lots of PED to have a go at this contest. MS9 and Lykke this is NOT my final pic though :P

Everyone with an apt has the chance to make something funny and gr8 even if it is just for this event.
