Hi We are planning a televised event at CND very soon for the German TV Show Polylux. Here's the basic post we will want to use to set up the event... I would like MS9 and Lykke to work together on this one. Given that Lykke is German she can be interviewed and also act as a liason.. I would be grateful if you would both give this some thought, lets keep it simple... MA may or Maynot be abler to provide us with a catwalk intime in which case we need to figure out where we stage a make shift catwalk..

MS maybe you can rework the Announcement and handle the promotions... also lets thingk up a few prize catagories...

Lets show Germany how creative people can be in PE, how much fun it is to have an avatar, etc, this is very much a life style piece...

I also want to run screenshot contests and movie making contests so its well documented...

German TV channel "Arte". We are running one show about popculture and music called "Tracks". In this show I want to present Project Entropia. What's up in virtual reality at the moment?
Together with Neverdie I am planning a happening in his club NEVERDIE on Wednesday, 8th of March at 6p.m. CET.
We want you to show up in your best costumes and bring your coolest accessories. Make the club Neverdie to a catwalk!!
Neverdie will award prizes for the best outfits!
I will film that event live with my camerateam and will broadcast it
later in TV.

Oh how exciting ... this would be a wonderful opportunity to get more exposure for CND.

I would absolutely love to work with Lykke on this project for sure, and I think between the 2 of us we should be able to pull this together for you ND.

I think Lykke would make a great Liaison ... however, I'm not sure she is German, but rather Danish. Don't know how close the languages are, but maybe it's something that would work.

With regard to the makeshift catwalk if MA doesn't give us one in time ... I'm wondering if the dome area would be the most likely place to develop this. I was thinking of using the mezzanine area for part of the space where ppl could stand and watch, and then have contestants for any contests come from the shop area and walk down the staircase and along a designated path toward a viewing area (if a fashion show). The path could be outlined by using a specific item that would pop enough to show that it was in fact outlining a path, such as papplon in its red color.

We could also line the steps with essence like Arthur did in the Disco for the dance contest, but wouldn't work for the path due to the lightness of the floor area.

We could have ppl standing on either side of the path, but back a ways so there was a clear view of the person walking down the path, and so that the camera would catch everything. The path could be made wide enough to handle this I'm sure.

If we choose to do something like this, then it would also show off the space/universe feel of the dome area, as well as give exposure to the shopping mall. I don't think we have to be extreme or overly elaborate in setting this up. I think we need a more open space so that it's not so tight and challenging to film such as it would most likely be in the Disco area right now if we were to use that for a makeshift catwalk in some way.

I just want to get clarification on a couple of things before going forward with this ...

Sorry for the questions, but I just want to make sure I'm going in the right direction here.

Perhaps another segment might be an apt decorating contest where that could be a part of highlighting the lifestyle at CND. Editing of the filming of the event at CND would of course capture each segment of the lifestyle at CND to accommodate timeframes for the TV program.

This way we have the open dome "window on the universe" with huge shopping mall area covered, as well as the fashion and living quarters aspect covered ... AND ... perhaps top it off with a disco party to highlight some nightlife.

This doesn't have to be complicated ... hopefully Lykke and I can get together quick enough to put the details together and post the information so that the community can engage themselves right away. We can determine prize categories and what the prizes will be, along with figuring out the rest of the details for promoting this multi-dimensional event.

But i agree that is indeed a really interessting chance to get free promotion and a catwalk event like this seems also nice.

I can see flashy lights , dancing people , guards in shiny black armor with heavy guns secure the catwalk while the beautys present the latest fashion. i see a fruit buffett , mindforce effects everywhere and a lot of fun and emotions.

Make sure they inform you via email when its go to german tv because i wont miss that!

Yes sorry about that Lykke, But regarldess of nationality i like the idea of this being handled with a feminine touch.. I think MS9 and Lykke will make it fly.

this is possible , but we should only expose the TV to the finalists, so that it doesnt take too long..

Also if you want to do this i will have to make some apartments available in the auction ASAP for entries, so ask people to register for the Apartment Furnishing contest and if they need an apartment I will put the corresponding number of apartments in a quick 1 dayauction

sounds good, also if there is something else u can think of that might work for this kind of show... for example try to line up real life females with web cams who want to be interviewed so they can say a few words about what they enjoy in PE.
