clean and simple, nice post MS9. Another cool feature of this event we can advertise to the general public that they have a chance to win, when they shop at CND Mall
Thx ND, appreciate your comments. If you'd like for me to do an ingame ad regarding this to run thru-out the month let me know.
I've also posted a thread at EF with a link to the event at RP.
I hope a monthly event like this will motivate the community to shop more at the CND Mall, and also the Shop Owners to perhaps do a little more marketing.![]()
This event will be a fun one to watch, bcuz it would be kinda cool to see what ppl are buying these days ... besides mining amps that is.
The best of luck to all patrons of the mall, and of course, the shop owners who take the time to post their sales receipts.
We wanna see, we wanna see what ppl are spending their peds on!![]()

A very nice idea, a boost for the local businesses and a chance for the 'power shoppers' to get a nice reward if they win![]()
I like this idea, see how it goes
Edit: scanned though the rules, will this be like the hunt/mine event that goes all month, or will it be a certian cut-off date?
Hey very cool idea! Wish I had grabbed a screen of the gnome arms I sold today.![]()
Great idea Ms9 :P
We'll definately be posting our sales in here thats for sure
rip
Dont want to be the negative person here,.. Cause the idea of rewarding a customer that buys someone at our shops with a prize in a monthly draw is a nice idea but, imo this is the wrong way to go about it,..
I for one wont be posting pictures of all my sales and therefore reveal what my customers are buying,..
They may not want that at all,.. and therefore I respect their privacy,..
Another way to go about this is to have the customer make a screenie of the item they are buying,.. and have them post that,..
We as shopkeepers would still make our screenies and only have to check the thread if the item was posted (and what number it was assigned to) then we post that certain pic with a header of : Confirmation Sale #X
Or something similar
This leaves control in the hands of the buyer,.. if they do or dont want to reveal their purchases,..

wow, sounds like a great idea![]()
but sure thing I have to say too, is that I was thinking same way then Freyr before.
You think its oki to show to everyone all arround EU who are the people buying stuff from us all?
means, the privacy should be an important thing for sure.
What others think about ?
oh, and I saw Ms 9, that you allready gave the starting-shoot for this Event then.
So its an official now I think hehe.

Yes Sonne, the event has started and will run each month.
I totally respect your position on this Freyr and Sonne, and actually was a thought I had myself but never brought it up with ND when he proposed the idea bcuz I liked where he was going with it.
I know that some shop owners screenie all their receipts ANYway and keep them for their records, so is it possible that when you get these screenies that you can ask the buyer if they mind if you post the screenie? ... or is that too much work since you may have to PM them if you don't have them on FL?
If we need to tweak this event a little in order to make it work more efficiently then I don't think ND would be opposed to that, so let's keep the communication open and see where we can go with this.
And Freyr? ... your post was not negative at all my friend ... and personal clothier, it just brought an awareness to the surface that we may need to have a different kind of consideration in the dynamics of this event. It's ALL good, and thx for sharing your thoughts.
This is why I created a "Discussion" thread ... so that the community can voice their opinions. I'm very plzd that this community constructively adds to discussion rather than bringing a negative tone into the mix, which is totally not necessary. We are very open here and welcome input/feedback bcuz it helps to make this forum and CND community a more efficient one for EVERYone.
Perhaps ND can give his thoughts on this as well when he has a chance. I know he's rather busy, but he's also interested in what the community thinks and how they're affected by these things.
Thx for the input!
