Hey there ... haven't heard from you here in a while, but good to see that you're still around. Just go to Twin and you'll find plenty of pilots Hon. You shouldn't have a problem getting one. Don't wait until the last minute though, bcuz you have to register for the event before it starts or you won't get in.

Absolute nightmare ! 10 minutes to go, i'm getting armour sorted, practising swinging my Valor and then bang...EU crashed and so far i've spent an hour trying to log back in

Oh Hon... that's AWFUL ... I don't know why MA couldn't get all that fixed with so many ppl having issues like this, it's just terrible. Well, know you were missed Goody ... What a cool event this was ... totally rockin' for sure ... MAJOR headbanging going on up in Dome 14 no doubt. But then ... when the "Queen of the Headbangers Ball" is Nea, how could we MISS. Lookin' hot as ever, and representin' the hard core rockers for sure. Thank you Nea for spending the time with us, and for helping to make the "CND Headbangers Ball" a great success.

Thanks ND as always for underwriting the event, and for providing such an awesome live set of metal tracks for us ... you freaked me out when you read that little story in that voice ... DAMN that sounded truly authentic ... frickin' AWESOME ... you need to do MORE of that kind of stuff. Maybe at the next event? Only with a little different kind of flare, right?

Since Blood Moon (Moonie), who is usually the "Dance Floor Boss" had computer issues with graphics, etc., we had a volunteer step up to the plate and offer services to get the dance floor built. Who else with such familiarity with these things could have handled this with such efficiency? None other than our own "Queen of the Dance Floor" ... Asti. Although she didn't want to be called the "Dance Floor Boss" but rather the "Dance Floor Wench" ... so I said ... you can call yourself whatever you like Honey, as long as the dance floor gets built ... and build it she did with the help of Moonfish. However, bcuz of the terrain, the dance floor took on a new look this time, and actually, the style pretty much fit right in with our theme. Thank you both for handling this job with such short notice, and for picking up the boards as well. You both are immensely appreciated.

I will be doing a full pic storyline on Sunday and posting it, so stay tuned for that, but just keep in mind that it takes a while to put these together ... believe me, it's involved. However, I thought I would share who the winners of the contests were, as well as pics from one of the resurrections that ND did ... just in case there are those who never saw one of these done ... it's just way cool.

There was also a "Treasure Hunt" where "Jack Daniels" (Sweat) bottles were hidden in the dome ... I originally indicated in the event thread that there were 4 that would be hidden, but I actually hid 6 ... however, only wrote down the coordinates to 5 of them. Only 2 bottles were found during the event, but then after the "After Party" in the "CND Hot Tub" ... we formed a team of several of us to go back to Dome 14 so that ppl could look for the rest of the them. As with the last event when we did this, I gave subtle clues while everyone was hunting and looking for the bottles, but it took a good couple of hours I think before the other 3 bottles were found that I had the coordinates for. The bottle that was hidden that I didn't have the coordinates for (but knew where it was) wasn't found.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE CONTEST WINNERS

Earlier in the week, I meet a new friend through Slick when we were going to attempt to get Slick and this new friend the new TPs in the new land areas on Amethera. Moonie and I had already gotten them and Moonie signed off, but I had the coordinates for all 3 and said that I would go with Slick. This new friend's name is "Drewmo" or "Drew" for short.

During the event, Drew was taken out by a Corn, and then the Corn quickly taken out by someone, but not looted immediately. Following are the pics I took of Drew's resurrection by ND after ND obviously saw and heard me crying over my new friend's dead body. This was amazing to watch ...

ND did several resurrections, and one of these days maybe I'll get to experience that too, but when there are so many hottie guys taking out the mobs that bother me while I'm pic-taking, or fapping me while I wack 'em up myself, then the opportunity doesn't present itself. Maybe next time!

Thx to all who came to the event, I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. The next and new themed event promises to be just as cool. It will be on the 22nd, and as soon as I get the artwork and I can put the event thread together, it will be posted, so stay tuned for that.

As a sidenote ... and this is a general statement and not directed at any one person in particular ... I have one request to ask for future events. It's not just during an event that I take pics, but after as well, and also before leaving the dome. If an event is PvP-enabled, plz be sure to read the rules so that you understand what is considered a PK-free zone during the event, or immediately following the event.

With the Headbangers Ball, the dance floor area was a PK-free zone for a reason, and it was mentioned in the thread that at the end of the event, this area was still to be a PK-free zone so that boards from the dance floor could be picked up and none lost since the boards belong to ND. I also do things at the end of an event like announce contest winners, and with this particular event, I wasn't done taking pics of ppl I needed to take pics of, nor done with other event business before being PK'd.

I would appreciate it if in the future, when these rules are indicated in the event thread details that they plz be respected so that I can conclude my business. Besides the filming being done thru ND's avatar for the Discovery Channel, it was also being done thru mine as well. Your consideration would be appreciated, thx!

And on another note ... there were several ppl asking questions about the event that were clearly answered in the details of the event thread post at Reality Port. The event threads are done for a purpose, so plz take the time to read them so that you understand what the guidelines and rules are.

Event was awesome just sorry that the timezones meant i had to log off after 20 mins in the disco But grats to the Winners and once again thansk to MS9 Moon ND and all the event creators, participants, helpers and of course my mom, my family .... i digress, its not an oscars lol and i didnt win ha ha.
