Figured I'd try this "diary thing". I haven't a clue how this will turn out, but I'll give it a shot anyway.

I guess this diary is kind of a "blog", so don't be surprised if you find both PE-related stuff as well as thoughts on real-life issiues.

Well, a month and a half ago I started this diary, but since then I haven't written anything...

I have enjoyed reading other peoples diaries - especially Rob and Sir Odds. Thank you both.

I have been playing just over 6 months now, and I will dedicate this post to recap this period.

Every news media in the world went apeshit when NEVERDIE purchased his virtual property. The result of the massive media coverage was a storm of new gamers. I suppose, being one of those people, I can call myself an "asteroid-n00b" since we are call all new arrivers "ATMcard-n00bs"...

I was very fortunate the day I spawned because I almost instantly met 2 great people. Emma Sam and Michael MJ Josephs. Any question I had they could answer, and they basically showed me the ropes. On my second day of PE I was sweating in Camp Phoenix. Boring as hell, as al of you know. Finally a Sabakuma was dry, and I killed it. Guess what? 120ped global!!!! No more sweating for me, mr.rich-man-Stoffer-mob-killer.
Of course the 120ped didnt last very long, and I had to whip out the old credit card. Sweating was not an option. I figured I could deposit 50 bucks - after all that's what we normally pay for a game.

I met Hay Hay Yoko a couple of weeks later, and we ended up founding a SOC together (StraitJacket Fraction). The first couple of months after that we weere a thriving of 8 members. Everyone was at the same level, and we had fun exploring stuff together.
After a while we weren't that active as SOC anymore, and a couple of months ago we disbanded the SOC.

Anyway, all tp's were collected. Some gloabls and hof's, meeting people blah blah blah.....

Then CND opened and I immediately loved the place. I pride myself in immediately recognizing the potential, and after only a few days there I decided I needed an apartment. Never saw the use of one on Calypso (I still don't), but there were no storage up here. I had to get one.

I bought a shop as well, thinking that a business adventure would be next. Unfortunately it is expensive to stock a shop. Especially since I'm a terrible crafter. On top of that I hit a dry spell - both on hunting and mining. Kinda of feel that the dryspell seems everlasting, but I'm not gonna give up.

On CND I've met only good people. Especially the community of residents is great. Thx to everyone. Don't wanna name any names, because I fear I will leave someone out.

Anywhoooo - that's the short recap of my time in PE / EU.

Summer vacation is over. Back to the old grind. My car "broke down" on my way home from the airport. 1300US dollar to fix it.

But hey - at least I have Entropia Universe!
