Domes 1-15 Are no longer PVP, Domes 16-20 are still PVP so watch out, let me know if there are more problems like today

Thank you ND ... and there will be plenty of others that will thank you as well base on today's activities. I know you can chg them back to PvP for an event, but having them non-PvP right now gets an amen from me.

For those of you who are unaware of today's activities, here it is in a nutshell ... an avatar named "Ace" from "Bacchus Elites" decided he was sole owner of Dome 4 ... a very popular dome with Atrox that a lot of ppl like to hunt in, myself included.

In Ace's self-proclaimed ownership of Dome 4, he proceeded to run around the dome in orange noob clothing weilding a VAT-100 ME and killing anyone and EVERYone who entered the dome after first telling them that HE owned the dome and to leave immediately. No amount of reasoning would work, even after telling him that ND was not going to be happy about losing revenue from those who frequently hunted and mined in the dome. It didn't matter to him.

After it was apparent that he wasn't going to leave the dome peacefully, several individuals decided to challenge him, often dying, but frequently enough were able to take him down. However, he came back for more and STILL proclaimed that Dome 4 was his to own.

Several ppl were in the dome eventually, like Psycho Al who revved up the firestorm a few times (along with his Madd IV), Klod and Moonie opened up their Urban Stalkers on his ass, and were also joined by Stoffer (thank you for the surprise gift btw), as well as several others including "NeverLIE" who constantly got killed by just about everyone bcuz of jumping in the way of flying bullets.

ME, I stood at the TP PM'ing some heavy hitters, hoping that we could deter this dome-spoiler so that ppl could come back and do their mining and hunting in peace, all the while trying to use some semblance of reasoning to get him to stop but he wasn't listening.

Since ND now has streaming music into the domes, Moonie and I figured we'd get everyone involved in a TP dance party and use a little attention diversion tactic ... it took a few minutes, but eventually we had everyone dancing at the TP to some awesome tunes. Guess "Ace" didn't like that he wasn't getting the attention any more so he actually broke down and joined the dance party.

I for one think it's wonderful that Domes 1-15 are no longer PvP ... especially since I was PK'd by "Ace" shortly after entering Dome 4 to do a solo Atrox hunt while waiting for Moonie to sign on. When I came back to the dome to talk with him, he promptly told me to leave bcuz HE owned the dome. I felt bad when several ppl entered the dome at various times to either hunt or mine, but after starting their trek into the dome were promptly told to leave ... when they didn't turn to leave, they were PK'd.

Now I understand what the ad in the ad system said when I saw it planetside yesterday warning ppl not to go to CND bcuz there were those who were laying claim to the biodomes.

To "Ace" ... if you even read a forum, let's see you try to claim the remaining domes that are left as PvP ... if the Ubers don't take you down, the MOBs certainly will. I'm guessing you chose Dome 4 ... a wuss dome for a VAT-weilding noob, bcuz you couldn't handle the harder domes. Have fun, and keep practicin' your dance moves ... you may be fancy with that VAT, but your dome dance skills still need to be unlocked.

Well if he wanted to do that and waste his bullets on pretending hes "DA MAN" well tahts his tough luck but the community will kick his ass in the end

Im glad that they are now non PVP so that people can go abou their business without the fear anymore (not that some of you had the fear lol)

But good news i think and if you still want to PK you have an extra incentive to skill becuase i think with the mobs in the remaining domes you may have to for quite some time

I'm GLAD that domes 1-15 are NON-PVP as well, all I wanted to do was to get through as many domes as I could today and enter all my Globals for the May CnD Contest and as soon as I entered Dome 4, all I saw in the Chat window was "ACE, Leave my brother be" but he wasn't listening. Before I could turn around KLOD wiped the dome walls with this awful orange noob suit lol "THANKS KLOD" and Thanks ND because now we all can just go in and drop bombs or whatever without worrying about being picked off by some noob carrying something he's not skilled to carry. Three Cheers for NeverDie oh and the Streaming Music is just the BoMb!! awesome!!

I applaud this decision!
While PvP has it's place, and some really enjoy it, I do not engage in it. I get very annoyed when someone pks me, just because I am there. I don't usually say much about it, because I know the risks. Now that there are no worries about players, it will be much more relaxing to do business in the domes.

I will still go into the PvP domes, and I expect that I will get killed there more often. With all of the pkers now condensed, that is likely. Still, I won't like it, but there is nothing to say. I now have a CND choice, without having to chose the planet. I believe this will become a popular decision, bringing more people to play in the domes, who otherwise would avoid PvP areas at all cost.

Sad that it had to come to this.

I am currently in the "Bacchus Elites" SOC, and I am ashamed by this whole situation. When I came to dome #4 I didn't even know he had "claimed" it. I just came to meet Ace and another SOC mate. I tried to PK him for fun, but they got me (the pair of them). I started dancing a bit and that was that.

Now, I will have a chat with Ace and ask him to apologize. I do not want to be in a SOC that has members who disrespects the CND community and way of life.

I apologize on behalf of my SOC, and will do my best to make sure we all follow the unwritten rules of CND. (if unsuccessful - I need a new SOC...)
