Champions League season 4 (nr 2 07) Starting 29th of April

In a new 12 unique event round of Champions League, the next top players of the Entropia Universe will be brought to you.

Each week will be followed by one event that will test your skill, luck & endurance. A Total of more than 20.000 PEDS will be handed out in prizes within the events and in the league.

Changes from last season
Most of the rules and basics remain the same since it has proved to be a formula that works and ppl enjoy. There has been another 4k added to the prize pool (total 20k) wich is equally spread out in weekly and final prizes.
The bonus point system has been changed some. Its now possible to score up to 4 extra points each event out of wich one is free. Globals play a part in this as well now. The top three positions points has been increased to +11, +8 and +6. This increase will in future allow top 7 to recieve extra points the day MA decide to upgrade the event system...


Prizes in the league
Will increase if CL manage to get a few new sponsors




Top three prizes will include personalized photography's in the below mentioned sum.
1st place: 3500 ped
2nd place: 2300 ped
3rd place: 1200 ped
4th place: 1000 ped
5th place: 900 ped
6th place: 800 ped
7th place: 700 ped
8th place: 600 ped
9th place: 500 ped
10th place:500 ped

TOP 4 in CHampions League will automatically Qualify to MMOWC Quarter finals.. Info about MMOWC 2007 prizes can be found here:
1 Random player outside of top 10 with at least 12 points will recieve 500 ped.

If two or more player ends on same amount of points and by that position in top ten. They devide the prizes of the places they cover. So if 2 with 66 points have place 1 they share first and second place prizes. Next in winning position then recive third prize etc etc.


Event prizes:
*In each of the individual events there will be prizes worth over 650 peds to win.
* 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will win prizes and there will also be prize to the one who recieve the highest hunting global in each event. Freyr also sponsor a random prize to someone outside of top three.

Location and time:
*All of the event in this round of the league will take place at CND.
*All events are on sundays starting 19:00 PE-time, So book up thoose sundays.
*Dome 6-15 will be the domes used for the greater part of the events.

Ticket cost:
*Atm changed to 50 ped a ticket and all the bonus points are included instead of bought!

*Undecided atm, either 60 ped if current system or 30 with the old.

*To save troubble it possible to buy/reserve tickets for the whole season from me for a cost of 250 ped. In this case I will each week reserve tickets for theese players and personally deliver them. AND remind them so they dont forget...

Rules:


The start of the event:

You can enter the dome
You can have mobs eating on your armour
But u may not kill or damage the mobs before the event begins!

League points:

*Each person signed for a event will have a base point of 1 towards the league.
*Top three will recive points to add to this 1 base point: 1st place +11 points, 2nd place +8 points and 3rd place recive +6 points. This add up with the point ppl get for regging to the event. so if winning u get 12 point, second 9 point etc.
*In pvp rules there is infomed how to buy up to a maximum of 4 points extra in each individual event. Read it carefully so u are prepared.


(*ONLY VALID IN EVENT #12:In the last event of the season it will be possible for players to score doubble bonus points meaning its possible to get 2 free points, 4 points cost 25, 6 points 50 and 8 points 100. Still only 5 minutes total war and ofc u can only use 3 globals as points :P This one will be removed)


Event,win rules:
*Most of the events in the league will choose its winners by the most total loot version of the ingame events. Combined with one highest single loot wins. NO pvp or melee only events this season unless something changes in the event system. If that happens changes will most likely be made.
*In the sad case that the servers go down and we will be unable to finish the event in a normal way, I will give the prizes and points to the persons who was in top 3 before the crash.
*The 2nd and third prize are given to the persons who the score board shows in the positions when the event ends. It will remain like this until updates in the event system arrive. In case someone else than the person who is showed as the one in 1st place wins the event I will try to do my best to solve the situation.


Rep points:
*I will give 3 points to each of the players who ends in top three. Sometime bugs stops me from distrubuting rep and this I say sry for. Sometime the score board also change in the last few seconds so I wont be able to adjust the rep, also this I say sry for. But I will try my best.
*I also reserve the right to use all the rep to bad rep someone who enters the event with only the reason to disturb.
*One point will also be given away to a random person whom I feel deserve some good rep'.

PVP:
Pvp is turned on in the event but is not supposed to be abused, but instead to make it possible to have the mini event called total war and Bounty hunt. I reserve all my reps to be used as neg reps in case someone enters with the intention to sabotage.

Bounty system
*1. For a cost of minimum 25 ped u may set a bounty on a participant in the event. This means that the player will be a target during the last 30 minutes of the event. The one who set the bounty is the one who pays. U can use your bounty kills to buy pk-points and price is set to 20 for each. Still only buy a max of 4 bonus-points from a event. Anyone abusing the bounty system of different reasons will be punished in a suitable way. U may not put a bounty on your self and u may not collect a bounty on someone u have set bounty on. U may not use defensue bounty kills for points either but only the collected bountys.

Total war and bonus point rules
*2. During the last 5 minutes of the event we enter a stage of total war. During this time its allowed to pvp and allowed to pvp anyone, NOT me. Combined with the hunting globals u got during the event U have the option to get points this way but like everything else in life it has a catch. U can only score a maximum of 4 bonus points this way and in order to get it u have to post a screen of ur kills and ur globals with time and connection to event clearly wiewable within it (press c & p). Else u wont get any points .

U can score a maximum of 4 bonus points (global and pk-points combined) in each event. In each event ur points can consist of a maximum of 2 global points. U can maximum use 3 pk-points, still total bonus point sum may not be above 4 points


And finally as said many times before, Its time for the people who claim to be the best to prove themselves or to be beaten by the better, we see much talk in forums and we hear a lot of rumors but we do not know. So lets see! Most important though; enjoy!

In a attempt to reduce lag but still not destroy the free spirit of CL I have made a few changes this week in an attempt to get closer to a good situation. I prefer not doing any radical changes that will put players who relly wish to enter CL locked out from the event.

Atm there is 30 available sales through the event terminal located in fertisliser room and 20 tickets wich Trifle is selling. I also hold 10 tickets but theese are reserved for players who have a season ticket and as memory tickets

So if u want to be sure to get a ticket...

There have been made changes this week. Each ticket cost 50 ped now and in this copst u also pay for the bonus points. So no other costs will or can be paid.

There is also a limit of 45 partipants.

U can only score a maximum of 4 bonus points this way. The 4 bonus points u can get in a event may consist of a max of 2 globals and a max of 3 pvp-kills - So u need to combine in order to get 4. In order to get your points you also have to post screens of ur pvp kills (and plz also post ur globals) with time and connection to event clearly wiewable within it (press c & p). Else u wont get any points! Post your screens in THIS thread. and post them as soon as u can but at last before wednesday.

I keep track of globals but in case I miss one u the only proof I accept is a screnshot!

Even with the lag, it was good fun as usual. I started out by dying after my 1st mob when I had too many Tripudion and Foul on me at one time! lol It took me about 8 minutes to get back into the action.
With a couple of late globals I managed to finish I believe in 8th place! That's my best finish, so far! I'm looking forward to getting back to the hunt ASAP.

So its us three who are left on the board it seems

Event was fun as always, i think i like the 50 ped deal more and more.

Damn i get such a rush that i never manage to pK the last person for the 4th point lol, next time after the VU!!!
